Hi my name is Rao my dream was to start a restaurant since I love cooking so why not I make this as my profession,so the problem is I am working as a Branch Manager in a Building Materials Co.in restaurant,am I eligible to start my own business?and what all documents do I need and how much will the licence cost ,please advise

Just because you love to cook doesn't mean that a restaurant is going to be your ideal job. A restaurant isn't just about cooking.

Before you consider getting into the restaurant business as an owner, why don't you work in one first so you learn the trade? If you cook, hire in as a cook and learn what it takes to run a restaurant kitchen. You need to know how things work so that as an owner you will know how to hire competent employees to serve your guests. Try being a waiter. It's not a glamorous job, but it is the backbone of guest service. Educate yourself on the business first, then start researching locations for your dream business.
