Bleeding and cramps in middle of month.
I have been on birth control pills for about 3 years now. Im 20 years old.

Last year, I had a miscarriage, even though I took my pill daily and at the same time, and 99% of the time, we use a condom, which makes me think either me or my partner are extremely fertile.

My period is not due for another 2 weeks, but the last few days I have been getting really bad cramps, and bleeding really dark blood. It's not REALLY heavy, but heavy-ish, and darker than I've ever seen it.

I was reading about implantation bleeding, and am very frightened that I might be pregnant.
Is there any other explanation for the bleeding and cramps?
I'll be happy to answer any questions you may need me to answer.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Jayjay, if you read this post about implantation bleeding you would understand that it has not been a proven fact.

That being said, it sounds more to me like you just got your period early. Plain and simple, no reason to worry.

    Hi.
The bleeding and cramps only happened for 2 days.
Today there is no bleeding, and no cramps.

Like I said, it isn't my period because it's much too dark, and my period ALWAYS lasts longer than just 2 days.
    (usually about 4-5 days)

Well, honestly at age 20 you are still going through hormonal changes, they last until around age 25.

If, and I strongly say IF, implantation bleeding occurs it is so light that most women never even notice it. If it is heavy and dark, maybe you should be checked out by a doctor, but it is my belief that this is nothing more than an unusual period which you can expect to happen a few times in your life. Especially between the ages of approximately 18 through 25 then again from around approximately age 35 to 43.

Anytime Jay. If in doubt it is always advised to visit your doctor.

    I wish you well.
