    smearcase

A person with the same credentials as the surveyor who originally put in the stake. In my area it would be a registered Professional Land Surveyor.

    Hello Art:

Of course, there's nothing illegal about ANYBODY moving them. It depends on WHY they moved them. IF it was to CHEAT somebody, then it's illegal. If it's to mow the lawn, then it's not illegal.

Do you mean the wood stake? Or the actual marker, It is more common to come in and replace the wooden stake put out with a metal pipe put deep into the ground, or a stone marker that is put in the ground
