I am making some Italian sausage soup. The recipe calls for a 1/2 cup of burgundy wine. All I have is a bottle of Marsella wine -- will that work?

Noooo!
If you have to use anything, go with a white wine instead. The Marsala is far too strong to act as a substitute.
