My 200 Honda Civic suddenly dies during driving. After switching everything off, I can start it back up normally in a few minutes. I have 112k on it.What can be the problem?

My 1998 Honda Accord kept dying while I was driving down the road and it was getting progressively worse. My husband replaced the ignition switch a week ago and it is starting well and has not died one time since then.
