I have two items on my Police record from way before my kids were born. One was a bar fight when I first got out of the Marines and the second was an embezzlement charge. Both were misdemeanors and since then, the state of Michigan has issued me a Concealed Pistol License. I want to get a job as a security guard until I finish school to become a police offer. Would getting a dishonesty bond on myself help me to make possible employers feel more comfortable hiring me? And how would I go about getting one on myself? Any help would be great!
