Do I still need spousal concent to make 401K distribution?
I have a 401K plan with my former employer. I remember that I put my mother there as the only beneficiary. I was married when I started this 401K. Because she abandoned the marriage, court issued a divorce order two years ago without saying anything about property division. Now my question is: can I cash out my 401K without her consent?

    Thanks a lot.

I hate it when you use my answer before I do - I also wonder whether full disclosure was required and/or made.
