Most of the switches are located in the console on top of the unit and is you look around you will usually find a few screws to remove. The first item I would check is the pressure fill sensor switch. This will have a plactic or rubber line attached to it and also the tub. Its job is to sense the water fill level and turn on the unit when it is filled with water to the correct level.

The top is fastened to the back and the back panel is all one sheet of metal. I have taken it partially loose but, looks like the wrong procedure because of clips attached would be unable to reatach them. Also the washer will not function in any position of the dial except fill. It is level and has powere at the plug. Thanks

The console on the top of the top comes loose. The console contains the timer etc.
