    About my 93 honda civic
    On my 94 honda civic it hisitates when I am driving it but when it is cold it start up. But when the engine get hot it does it to me. I don't want to spend a lot of money on my car but I don't now what it is. Can anyone tell me please

    . Replace the Ignition Control Module and coil:

    One or both may be breaking down under heat. These problematic components should be replaced every 120,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first.

    . Test/replace the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor, located under the distributor, if the problem persists.

    How do u test the engine coolant temperature sensor

    . Warm up engine to normal operating temperature.

    . Turn ignition switch OFF.

    . Disconnect 2P connector from the ECT Sensor.

    . Measure resistance between the two terminals on the ECT Sensor. Is the resistance between 200 to 400 ohms? If no, replace the ECT Sensor.
