Yes seeing the child or not seeing the child has nothing to do with child support. You could never have had one glimpse of the child and still have to pay simply because it is YOUR child.
The way you worded this it sounds like she never went after you for child support. Do you think she is planning on going after you for child support?

If you want to see the child you go to family court and request joint custody, visitation orders or whatever to see the child.

Agree - should be combined with other same thread.

If he wants to see the child then he will have to go to court. He will petition the judge to order a paternaty test (it has to be court ordered they don't accept any others) and if the test comes back positive then he will have a graduated visitation schedule orderd and a child support order. If it comes back negative then he can move on with his life. But to get anything he will have to go to court.
