I got TODAY a kenmore elite electric dryer. It's all hooked up, seems fine, push the start button, it runs for about three seconds and then goes off. Cannot start it again until a few minutes later, and then the same thing happens. Tried many different settings, etc. any ideas?? Thank you

After thoroughly reading the owners manual for something and not finding anything, I would contact the service department where you bought it.

It may shed some light on your problem... also, if sears will take this thing back, it would be a good time to get rid of it. Mine is now three years old, and is having the same problem. Ask sears lack of customer service department about "service flash" # SF26-751.

I hope you have better luck than the hundreds of others with the same problems.
