My doctor told me the best thing that I could do was to stop typing for at least a year. Long story, but I stopped typing for about 2 years and both wrists got much better. Only nonuse of your wrists and total rest are really the answer. I'm not a doctor person and hate to go to them and don't have any insurance anyway so I just "make do" and rest my wrists if they hurt now. I don't keep pushing myself. Fortunately I have a job now where I don't do much typing so that has helped keep the symptoms away.
