    Furnace snuffing system
    Dear Gen;

    We are reviewing the future requirements in terms of applicable fire fighting system in the hot oil furnace.

    The required calculated quantity of N2 within the protected space (radiant & convection zones) is 766 m3
    What is the number of N2 cylinders equivalent to the 766 m3 ? Considering that cylinder shall be pressurized to 300 bars

    At 300 bars you need approx. 2.6 meters^3 of compressed N2. If your standard gas cylinder has .04M^3 volume, you need about 65 cylinders.
