I had a root canal about a year ago, the thing is I still feel pain and the tooth is very sensitive to the touch which confuses me as my endontist/dentist extracted the root. I have gone to him to explain he looked at it and took x-rays but he could find nothing wrong he said I must just give it time. Well it has been a few months since I saw him last and it has worsend it is very painfull and when I floss that tooth it smells like it is infected and it is making me nauses and my jaw hurts. I am going to see him soon but he gets very defensive of his work and unfortunatlly since I live in key west he is the only one to take my insurance. So can anyone give me tips on what might be wrong and how to tell him without offending him! I don't want to piss of the person who is going to work in my mouth.
Thank you in advance.
