Lien on house before purchased
I bought my house in march of 05. The title company said they researched the property and there was no liens on the house. I am now going into foreclosure procedures and the lending company is claiming I owe 30,000 in liens that were put on the house before I bought the house. I want to save my house but no way can I pay for a lien of 30,000 dollars when I can't pay the back payments on the mortgage. I am respondsible for the liens or can I go after the title company or previous owner for lying to me?
