A liitle more information. We have a heat pump furnace and the old thermostat is a GE Weathertron. We bought a honeywell programmable thermostat. The wires we have are T,X2,O,B,G,W,Y,R. The T wire does not correspond to anything and we do not have a wire to go into the L terminal. We bought a Honeywell RTH7400D thermostat. Here is how we hooked it up: Nothing in RC - R wire to R | O wire to O/B |Y to Y| G to G |B wire to C |Nothing in L |X2 wire to E |W to Aux | T wire to nothing. IS this correct? We are afraid to turn the electric back on for fear of blowing something.
