I had surgery right before my 19 th birthday and since then I have added lots of debt for lack of no insurance and I don't want to file for bankruptcy so young but have no idea what else to do any ideas will help very much I'm stuck and have my whole life ahead of me trying to start my life and I'm scared this will stop my goals thanks.

Welcome to AMHD. Just curious: How will filing Chapter 7 (or Chapter 13) be adverse to one who is young, say 19 or 29? Secondly, why do you believe filing bankruptcy would be adverse to your goals in life?

After so many years those medical bills fall off. And yes they hurt you credit badly. I know from exp.

Some times there is no choice, you have to do what you have to do.
