Takes work, and your chest is often where weight is lost first, much so some peoples dismay... but you've started the process. Don't stop now... your body is just getting primed to lose more weight if you keep at it.
If you need to crank in your waist you need to work your core. Pilates is awesome. Tae bo is good. It just takes work and effort and time. You can get workout dvds at your public library. You also might need more cardio if you still have weight to lose.
Pilates and yoga, also since it's summer, try swimming. During swim season I would get so toned within the first month. Swimming works almost every muscle
