I suspect that I have shinges. I understand that there is a shot that will help. How long a time frame is there from the onset to time of the shot.

Antiviral medication

Pain meds such as aspirin, ibuprofen, etc... just to give some relief.

Corticosteroids with antiviral meds

Topical antibiotics for the rashes (if you have any)
