Replace an egr sensor on a 2002 ford explorer 4.0L
I need to replace the EGR pressure sensor on a 2002 Ford Explorer with a 4.0L engine. I have the part but I am having a hard time locating its location on the engine. Can anyone tell me its specific location? A picture of it would be helpful. Thanks!

The DPFE is normally located behind the throttle body, along the firewall--look for two hoses going to it. Frequently, they don't need to be replaced, just cleaned. Clean all related hoses, while you are at it. Using a quality full-synthetic engine oil, with a low NOACK Volatility rating, will greatly reduce EGR-related problems.
