Or does anyone know how it is wired and how to disable safety at a central place?

If the engine spins when you are trying to start, then remove the blower housing (top) and locate the coil. Remove the small black wire from the coil and see if you have spark then, if so the kill wire is bad. If not, then the coil itself is probably bad. This is only true if the engine spins when you try to start it.
