Should I contact Credit Agencies to understand why my application was rejected?
I have just come into the country and decided to open a retail credit account with some of the popular retailers here (the kind they force on you to give you additional discount), but my request was rejected by the credit reporting agency. I got a letter to this effect from one of the retailers asking me to contact the credit agency to understand the reasons it was rejected. Is it worth doing this - will it create more negative points if I enquire?
