I have a kenmore heavy duty 60 series that will not go into full spin. Sounds like something is rubbing and slowing the basket

Have you checked if something got stuck between the drum and outer wall?
There is limited access if you remove the rear cover.
Always disconnect the power lead and put it on the floor before you open the dryer.
