I'm not asking for an apology, but trying to understand how we can make the site easier to use. When you chose the Forum Help there was a bold red instructions to read this first. Did you read it, if not, why not? Since you had to scroll down all the other forums did you try reading the list? Why wouldn't you choose Home and Gardens, instead of Forum Community?
