I have two removable CD Rom drives for this Dell Inspiring 3800.
Both are not working.
I am trying to install a hP printer and it is not even recognizing the software.
The icon of My computer does not even show I have a D drive.
What do I do now?
I need to install this printer.

1. Did the cd drives work before?

If it worked before, and it does not work now, it could be one of few things:

The drive has been disconnected internally
The driver has been somehow uninstalled
The drive is malfunctioning (but for BOTH to malfunction... is rare)
The motherboard has decided to kick the cd drives

As far as you trying to install the printer, you can just download the driver from hp's website.
