Dear All,
I have an electronic cooker plate (hob) installed (Candy PVS 640 RX). The problem is that when I cook on it, I can't adjust it's heat, or it is very-very fast. In theory it could be adjusted ungradually.
Any idea? Is it a failure at all?

If it has an adjustment, may be shorted together, or not turning thermostat. Have you opened unit and identified parts, and check operation, also if there is a sensor not working, or came loose, you may not have control.

How does the adjustment affect heat now? If able to reach temperature quickly, it would quickly switch off, cool enough, then back on.
Now it is hot quickly but it doesn't switch off, only when I heat a large amount of water (5-6 liters) and in this case it swtiches off quite infrequent, but so it isn't easy to cook something for two persons. A small amount water (1 liter soup etc) boils fast and I can't slowly heat it.Quote:
