Cleaning very thick film in one piece fiberglass shower
One of my costomers needs a very thick soap like film cleaned out of her shower. She says that nothing she has used will cut through it. I thought id try to buff it out, but what kind of cleaner do I use?

I would think that a product like Lime-Away would work. You do need to protect yourself from the fumes, though. And, it can be rough on your skin. So, wearing rubber gloves would be in order here. I would check the label on it to make sure that it can be used on fiberglass.

I'd use oven cleaner (sulfuric acid). It might hurt other shower parts, but it will disolve the film.

But, I wonder if oven cleaner will tackle lime build-up since its made for the build-up of food residue on the inside of an oven and not lime? I also think that it might be worth a try, though.
