    Heat pump
    Suppose your working in a one-family dwelling that supplied with 120/240V service. The home has a 240-volt heat pump rated at 25 amp's the size of the home is 2200 square feet also with10 kW range a 5 kW water heater a1.5 kW dishwasher a 1.3 kW compactor and 18 kW electric baseboard heat. Question 0ne is what would be kVA for this heat pump? Question two is what would be the total load for service for this home I can never seem to get my load calculations correct thanks a ton:D

    KVA = volts times amps / 1000

    What do you have for calcs?

    Seems you are working on a workbook test for E2.
