I have a Maytag Washer Model # MAV6057AWW. The washer fills, agitates, lets standing water out of the tub, but will not spin, to remove excess water from the clothes. I have tried other wash cycles, but with the same results. Do I have a sheared pin somewhere? Please let me know what you think.

From your description it sounds like you need to replace the thrust bearing kit. I would also (for good measure) replace the belt at the same time. The new thrust bearing comes with very good instructions and is easy to replace.
