    HI...


    Do I need for a converter from 240 Volt to 120 Volt... cuse I have some electrical equipement which is working on 240 Volt.. now I want to use this equipment in the countries with 120 Volt...

    Do I need for converter or NOT??

    Unless the equipment specifically states that it is designed for 120/240 V 50/60 Hz or equivalent ranges of operation, a converter is required.

    You would also need a device to convert to the different pin configuration even if the ratings covered the 120V 60Hz requirement.

    When you purchase the converter, be careful to ensure that it can handle the power rating of the equipment, with some margin.

    As long as you have the correct rating, as simple step down transformer will do.. 120/240
