    Bathtub leaks
My bathroom tub was leaking real bad on the hot water.so I turned off the hot water tank at the fuse box which after awhile made it run cold. OK so now I turned off the water at the hot water tank the hot .now my question is if I turn back on the hot water tank will the water be hot or will I have too wait or how long will it take too make the water hot again:confused:

If you turned the power off to the hot water tank, the water in the tank is now cool, so it will have to warm up before it will run warm. *** unless you have a instant tankless hot water system***
Each tank is different depending on size, voltage and so on.

The water will began heating as soon as you turn the power back on. As hot water raises you will be able to make small draw in 15 minutes. In a 40 gallon heater it will take less then a hour to bring it all up to temperature. Good luck, Tom
