    Honeywell Chronotherm IV Plus thermostat
I just changed the filter in my air conditioner, how do I reset my thermostat to make the word "filter" stop blinking. I have looked up the owner's manual on-line but it does not address this problem. I have a Honeywell Chronotherm IV Plus programmable thermostat. Thanks for any help that you can give me. Bob

The owners manual does state how to reset. I suggest you read again or go here and get the correct manual to read.

Default - Honeywell Environmental And Combustion Controls

Type in correct model in box lower right.

Is there a filter button on the thermostat. If so most thermostats all you have to do is press and hold it till it clears
