    Commercial Floor Sink
I need to install a floor sink and I need to know how it's properly done. I'm installing in a concrete slab which I've cut out to install the plumbing and sink. I know it needs to have a P-Trap does this need to be vented or is it self venting? I've tried to find a diagram on the net but have been unsuccessful. I'm running a 2 in line to the sink where the sink is about 12 in from the wall with the main line coming from the middle of the room. Do I run it directly to the floor sink or do I set it off to the left or right then vent the line direct to drain line then up the wall. Just need a sanity check. Thanks

You should install a wye or combination downstream of the floor sink and vent the floor sink through it into your nearest wall.
