This Kenmore dryer recently started not to get hot. Basically when the start button is pressed the dryer starts working, but no heat is generated inside it. The lint filter has been cleaned on a regular basis.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Not only does the lint trap deen to be clean but also the exhaust hose from the back of the dryer all the way out to where it exits the house. Also lint builds up inside the unit where the linlet and outlet screens are and the blower motor itself. You also need to remove the blower housing and clean all thouroughly. I have seen these problems more than any other when it comes to heating. Next check the element.
