Hot Water turns off shower head?
When running only cold water the shower works. When hot water is added to the mix, the shower head stops delivering water. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm afraid I don't know what the model is. The tub fixtures were replaced about 2 years ago. The shower head has been there for many years for nore than the 12 years I have lived here. The house is about 90 years old.

Today when I checked it neither cold nor hot is going to the shower head,,

    Thanks!

Take the shower head off, see if the water is getting there at all. Is this a tub/shower combo? I would assume if so, the water comes out of the tub spout.

This will tell you if the shower head is clogged, the diverter, or the mixing valve is at fault.

    Let us know.

The is a tub shower combo.

Without the shower head on, there is a small stream, under fairly low pressure, coming out of the top pipe. The amount and pressure of the water coming out of the top pipe is much lower than you would expect based on the amount of water that comes out of the tub faucet before switch to the shower.

    Thank you.
