    Whirlpool E1 error code appears when dryer stops and clothes are not dry. I undersand this is a thermistor problem. Exactly where is it located?

    Located ad back side if dryer. They are round or disc shape. May have 2-4 on unit . When you locate,disconnect a wire from each and check for continuity.If none,replace. Go to Appliance Parts from RepairClinic.com - HomePage as you may be able to see a diagram of the location of these. You should also have a diagram on the inside of your units panel.Prior to working on your unit, UNPLUG form power sourcw. WORK SAFE. Good Luck
