Lite brown thick looking oil in my 92 monte carlo
I kept losing water in my monte carlo so I replaced the water pump because it was leaking. I also replace the termastate because the car was over heating. After replacing those parts I was still losing water and I did not see any evidence of water anywhere. I went to change my oil and notice the level was high on the stick and it was a lite brown and very thick.

The head may have warped, due to overheating. This usually results in a leaking head gasket, where antifreeze and/or oil are either burned in the cylinders or antifreeze gets into the crankcase. It will likely require the head be machined, valves inspected for damage, and the head gasket replaced.
