I find posts such as yours very disappointing. If you are going to have dogs, you are obligated to learn how to give them proper care. That includes getting them spay/neutered by 6 months or taking care to avoid accidental breeding. Do you know or care that we are slaughtering millions of dogs every year for lack of homes? Quite often as a result of neglect, like yours, puppies are killed in less than humane ways after a short, miserable life.

I hope that you have had your dog dewormed and she has the proper shots. You would be wise to get your dog vet checked. Do a little research on breeding, spaying and neutering and on how many homes are needed for daschsunds that are in a rescue, looking for forever homes. Go to petfinder.com and look up rescue groups for daschshunds. Maybe you will have a change of heart.
