We have a contract to buy a second home in Wisconsin. The mortgage financing box has been checked however the terms were never filled out. Is the contract void

No, the contract is not void. All that a real estate contract requires in order to be valid is the name of the seller, the name of the purchaser, some identification of the property, a price and signatures.

No... and you are not required to have a mortgage and the contract is not contingent if you don't get a mortgage.

    Hello l:

Instead of asking your question that way, why don't you tell us what happened, and why you want to do, what it is that you want to do? Maybe we can find another way to skin the cat.

By leaving this blank you would basically be required to accept any loan offer, since you did not restrict it by saying no interest over 7 percent, and the such, so if you find a loan offer at 10 percent and the seller knows it, they could try and force the sell.
