    Is a real estate contract void if all the blanks are not filled out.
    We have a contract to buy a second home in Wisconsin. The mortgage financing box has been checked however the terms were never filled out. Is the contract void

    No, the contract is not void. All that a real estate contract requires in order to be valid is the name of the seller, the name of the purchaser, some identification of the property, a price and signatures.

    No... and you are not required to have a mortgage and the contract is not contingent if you don't get a mortgage.

    By leaving this blank you would basically be required to accept any loan offer, since you did not restrict it by saying no interest over 7 percent, and the such, so if you find a loan offer at 10 percent and the seller knows it, they could try and force the sell.
