I won't be helping them. They will need Gods help. You have dealt with them before and already know what they are like so you have every right to go off, but I am still glad that I am not the one fixing it up.

startover22
May 10, 2007, 01:15 PM
I love smokes
It ain't no jokes
I am going to find
A way to get them off my mind
With a little bit of help
I will only yelp
Ohh how much $ I'll save
I want to hid in a cave
This is so dumb
Can you tell I am numb?

alkalineangel
May 10, 2007, 01:17 PM
Hehe I love it! Now Im not the only troll!!

You know I think there is some kind of dark cloud or something. Everyone I've talked to is having bad days... and there is a curse in my office or something... yesterday they thought I was miscarrying... then last night before close, a co-workers husband was hospitilized after he was hit while riding his motorcycle and thrown 20 feet... then another co-worker just was taken to the hospital with appendicitis... lets just say every one is walking around on egg shells right now.

curlybenswife
May 10, 2007, 01:18 PM

startover22
May 10, 2007, 01:19 PM
Laura, yes she is... Poor dear. What a stupid poem, I am laughing. Can't believe it even came out of my mouth...

alkalineangel
May 10, 2007, 01:20 PM
**clarification*** not that I like to see any one of you suffer... dont get me wrong... I wish you were all just fine and dandy and chipper... but I find it funny when other people start going off on people because it means I'm not the only one with a temper at the moment... lol..

curlybenswife
May 10, 2007, 01:22 PM
It takes a lot these days to make me explode but after the last 8 days I think I'm more than justified lol god help those guys

alkalineangel
May 10, 2007, 01:23 PM
Hehe... they'll be able to take it..

startover22
May 10, 2007, 01:23 PM
It might be the suffering that brought me here. I think knowing other people are as bad or worse then me makes it easier to deal with certain things like smoking or junk food, or what ever. I am here for support from the people that have "great" issues just like me in my every day life. Are you sure you don't like seeing us suffer at all? Let me tell you, I am sufferin, I am

What door are you guys talking about? If it is a garage door, oooohhhh don't get me started. The Overhead Door crew in Eugene were the dumbest bunch of guys I have seen in a long time, rude too!

alkalineangel
May 10, 2007, 01:27 PM
Believe me I understand... no I hate to see anyone suffer, but you are right, that is what brought us all here... well technically a desperate search for a movie title is what really led me here... but... you know... lol... after a few months and some great conversation, I have really made some good friends here. Besides its always fun picking on each other...

startover22
May 10, 2007, 01:28 PM
Did I say that right? SEE SYNNEN, I AM SECOND GUESSING MYSELF!! What to do what to do. No more computer for me. I have to get out of here! Later tater.

curlybenswife
May 10, 2007, 01:30 PM

startover22
May 10, 2007, 01:32 PM

May 10, 2007, 01:36 PM
I am addicted too. Some of you are just too good to pass up. Love the different opinions and fuuny stuff that is said. Just a month ago I was a different person. If you can believe it or not...

alkalineangel
May 10, 2007, 01:42 PM
This is my "out"... my place to go that doesn't include my husband or son... lol... I love them, but I don't need to see them ALL the time... lol.

startover22
May 10, 2007, 01:48 PM
I agree. I did tell my husband about it though, that way I din't feel like I was hiding anything. I felt a little silly at first, now I don't at all. I love it. And I can call it my own too. If my husband wanted to get on and post I would make him get his own user name cause I wouldn't have a good reputation any more. Love him, but that's the truth.

alkalineangel
May 10, 2007, 01:50 PM
Oh I don't have anything to hide... im always talking to him about something I learned on here or his opinion on a situation... but he knows this is my place and he can find his own... I don't need to bump into him on here... lol

Laura, My wife likes Ty as well. We both watch Extreme home make over. Remember all that bundle of energy you heard in my voice, you never thought I would stop lol. Well, he has bounds and bounds of energy as well. We both tend to laugh with the antics of ty. I know you like him for other reasons.

I know my wife will not tell me the real reason why she likes him. Lol

Anyway, Going to eat some din din, hope you all are enjoying dinner too.

I've foiund there is no closure when it comes to death. (how I hate that word closure).
I start blubbering when I see all the things that are out for mother's day and I can't send anything to her. It's been barely 6 weeks since my Mom died and I still can't believe it.
I'm still making it day by day and the pain hasn't seemed to lessen yet.
I did't talk with her before she passed away.

J_9
May 10, 2007, 03:41 PM
Oh, Chippers, if I could only hug you right now.

It is so hard during the first few holidays!!

curlybenswife
May 10, 2007, 03:42 PM
Oh chippers my sweet who the hell says you can't buy your mum something you go choose the most amazing plant or tree and you plant it in your back yard where you can see it everyday.
Lots of hugs to you my special sweet friend loves you xxxxx

chippers
May 10, 2007, 03:49 PM
That's a great idea. I'll plant something in our circle of friends garden for her. Dad doesn't want anyhting sent to the house and I understand that. We're not really celebrating it here either. mr. chippers is taking us to great adventure (amusement park) to see Rick springfield in concert. I can't wait. The last time I saw him was 25 years ago. I listened to his music in nursing school and passed boards.

J_9
May 10, 2007, 03:52 PM
Thanks to you Chippers I listened to the Ricker a week ago and passed finals. Buy yourself some Mother's Day balloons and let them soar to the heavens.

Have a good time at the concert, and, oh, yeah, what is the closest airport to you? I may be having a layover there going to help my mother for a week or so. And I would love to meet you.

curlybenswife
May 10, 2007, 03:54 PM
My dads ashes got scattered t sea so I have a perminant reminder pretty much on my doorstep we all need something to focus on :D

I love you guys I'm off to bed xxxx

chippers
May 10, 2007, 03:58 PM
The closest airport to me is philadelphia international. It's about 45 minutes from my house. I'd love to meet you too. Congrats on the finals. I'm proud of you, but not surprised. You/ve got the gift.

My moms ashes are in a clock ern. Which dad calls your mother the clock.
Good night Laura. Sweet dreams. I'm confident that tomorrow will be a better day for everyone. Being it's so close to the week end. Remember I need everyone's favorite flower or plant for the friends garden.
I've got syn's, start's and alka,

J_9
May 10, 2007, 04:02 PM
Hun, you helped me with the inspiration for the gift, as you have it also.

I will work on my layover and see if I can get it in Phili.

Allheart
May 10, 2007, 04:29 PM
Oh hugs to you chippers. Just big hugs. Absoluley plant a little tree or something in memory of Mom. Just beautiful.

Love you honey!

That would be more than awesome... wouldn't it Chippers ;)

I was watching miami ink. There was this girl that came in and wanted an tattoo of an angel on her back. She also had a picture of her and her baby brother in her arms. Her brother at 15 years old committed suicide. She had her brothers ashes with her. Apparently it is a common practice to mix some of the ashes in the ink they use for the tattoo and that is what she did.

So now she will have him with her at all times.

Chippers, I am so sorry for your loss. It is hard to believe that a loved one is not here with you in the physical sense. I just want you to know that your mom is always with you. In your heart, within your spirit. We are all connected and there is nothing that can separate that.

I think Laura had an excellent idea about you planting a tree or plant as a mothers day gift. I know that you are surrounded by people who love you, including myself.

Chippers, As far as a flower. I am not sure what kind. I have one in mind but somebody already mentioned it. So my idea is that from what you know of me here. I want for you to decide what flower to plant. Let me know which one you chose to plant.

Please take care of yourself.

Joe

startover22
May 10, 2007, 07:33 PM
You guys are making me cry... What are you trying to do to me? Chippers buy your mama a plant or tree that is a very fine idea.
J_9 good job on your final. I would be proud of myself if I were you...
CBW try not to kick anyone's A$$ for the door... your days will be brighter...
Joe, I will be looking forward to hearing some gross food jokes. Could you find one about cereal, that is what I eat a lot of and I can't seem to kick it.
Tomorrow I am not going to raise my voice at the kids, just seems like they can't hear me if I talk in a low voice, but I guess they can, I tried it today when I had to stick my boy in a time out, and it worked better than ever, I guess I am changing in a few great ways. The boys are down, dad and the "bigger" kids went on a beautigul walk to go get icecream.
I am wanting to smoke but I won't...
RECORDING: 36 hours and going strong...

Closing on the house tomorrow, 1 down, 999 to go. We can do it. Right? Hugs to all.
G'night

chippers
May 10, 2007, 09:38 PM
Oh hugs to you chippers. Just big hugs. Absoluley plant a little tree or something in memory of Mom. Just beautiful.

Love you honey!

Love you to angel

Start, I am proud of you. The more you talk about it, the better you feel. You'll be feeling you want to smoke (theyre called tics) its okay to think about it at the time. To ignore it is wrong. Think of what's making you want one, then think of how proud of your swelf you are for not smoking.
Joe, thank you and everyone else for your kind words. My mom had an apple tree in her back yard and a dog would tree in her front yard. I'll plant one or the other. There is no rule that says I can't plant 2 of the same thing. So tell me about the flower, or if you like, your wife's favorite flower. Whatever you want.
I didn't mean to go off the way I did, but after spending the day seeing mother's day gifts it hit me. I'm normally a strong person and can handle it. After making sure Dad and my boys were okay, I couldn't escape the denial anymore.
I have a small remembrance of her ashes in a keepsake. Plus dad gave me a few things that belonged to her. When I'm ready I'll look at them.
And Syn, I know you're right, She knew I loved her. Mom never said it much but like my dad, mom showed her love in her actions. Like making our meals, laundry, doctors visits. Not taking it personally when teen age angst peaked.
She loved her grandchildren. Thought it was her divine right to do as she pleased with them.(that always got her into trouble with me and my brother) after a while we just gave up.
She was tough on me because she didn't want me to be weak and dependent on a man.I had to earn my way and I did.
So enough of the water works. I can't have swollen bleary eyes when I see Springfield on Sunday.
Yes Allheart, it would be awesome to see J-9 as it would be awesome to see all of you as well.
You're great frineds and I love you guys very much.

Goodmorning everybody. Up real early again. When will I learn. Lol

I just noticed, a few more posts and my total will be 3,000. Wow, where did all the posts go? Lol

Have a good day and great weekend everybody.

One more thing I wanted to say, Chippers, is this:

Mother's Day has been the worst day of the year for me for 15 years now. People EXPECT you to be sad and lonely at Christmas following a loss, but not at those other weird holidays that come up and smack you in the face.

My advice is this: Do what YOU want or have to do this weekend. If that means sitting in your garden and bawling your eyes out, then having a stiff scotch and taking a nap, GREAT! If that means going to church and then coming home and snuggling with your hsuband for a few hours, that's great too! Just remember that it's okay to be sad and a little angry and just let your emotions run on.

My thoughts will be with you this weekend, as always.

Laura... were they cute?

curlybenswife
May 11, 2007, 05:17 AM

Hey guys, gals, and good people, RECORDING: 48 hours, and I am all right, a little snappy but pretty cool... You guys sound well this morning, good for you. It is sunny today. WooHoo! I am going to sell my home today. Yes a very good thing, but I will be losing one of the loves of my house. I have had many places to live, but that was truly where I made my home with my family and I loved it so.
Hugs to all. Stay positive and I will see you all sweet, sweet, people later...

May 11, 2007, 09:35 AM
A request from me im gonna make ben go through here later and merge posts that are one after another by the same person Im not being a B##ch but im just thinking if people just keep posting like that we are gonna be at 1500 posts again before we know it and that makes me sad.

I actually get it (waiting for lightening to strike me now hehe). Laura will be asking Ben to merge the smaller posts by the same person to look larger so we have more available post sapce. And won't be cut off at 1500.

Start, I think 48 hours is great. Were here and keep it up.
Syn, your words are comfort to me. Besides, I never did follow anyone eslses drum beat.
Joe I know how you feel and I love you for it.
Laura there should be a law when workers come to your house to work, they should enclude appropriate eye candy. I'm with you here.
I was working at a hosptial that they were expanding on. God those workers were gorgous without their shirts looking like bronzed Gods. (oh I just worked myself up). Everyday at 330pm, we would gather at the large window and watch them. One day the administrater caught us. He was pretty easy going and said we needed to do a Diet Coke commercial here.
The boys are excited about planning a garden this year and so am I. it'll be the first one I've ever done. That's why having you all aprt of it makes it so special. So Laura, allheart, J-9 and Joe, I need to knowyour preferences. There's no real hurry I have till the end of may. As for me I'll be planting roses yellow for frindship.

I wasn't aiming at anyone Joe I I think it is just nesisary so we don't have to start a new thred so quickly I certainly wasn't aiming at you its just a request.

Laura, I hope you got my msn messeges. I left messenger out. The whole family went out grocery shopping we went around the store. Joshua just loved it. I tuckered him out. He was giggling the whole time until the wife and I started bickering a bit with stupid things.

Oh, And there were these three little boys running around the store screaming like girls so I started running around and yelling too. Lol it made them stop for a minute. I think I might of scared the poor guys, but the store clerks were laughing there head off. I got them to stop, shocked the he-- out of those kids a big olders sized adult imitating them. Hee Hee.

Oh, I love doing silly things around strangers. Always get somebody to laugh.

Especially when I was in walmart and acting like a , well never mind.

Cleaned out old house, not done yet
Dumped over a big thing of watered down dog poop, left from the renters, I was PISSED and so was my husband. We worked in that stank for an hour or so. Bad news.

J_9 switched her picture, that threw me for a loop (although it is the cutest pecture of all) I am a hands on kind of girl, this computer thing is getting easier, but I still have my days. Start, I give you credit not just for the 58 hours but trying to understand us. WE don't really understand us that much. But its fun to try. Anyone asks about the clothes basket ride, that's me or my son who actually tried it out down a flight of stairs.
Joe becareful about runnig around stores acting like a lunatic. My dad and I got thrown out of a store for playing around like that. True story
eBay is fun but be careful. Always research what you're buying and the person selling it. I literally got screwed on a pda I bought and the seller refused to take it back. They have since been banned.
A lot of stores do business there and they're pretty good. Christmas shopping was a breeze. So was amazon.com
I'm going out tomorrow to get my hair nails and eye brows done. Just for fun and treat myself.
The boys brought home their mother's day gifts. They were precious and the plants are really nice. They probably figured they could shiney up the apple since Saturday is allowance day. Hehe Just kidding. They're great kids.
Oh joe, becareful what you say in front of superbaby. I made the mistake of calling a bad driver an sob. I did use the unabreviated version. Which my son at the age of 2 1/2 repeated very clearly in a grocery store when he dropped a can of cat food on the floor.
But hey it could've been worse. He could've said what my niece said to my father one day.
Lets just leave the remark to your imagination.

My little guy got to sleep 2 hours later, all he did was cry and scream. His gums look too swollen. Oh, and I thought we were going to get off easy, but nature and Joshua had other plans. We were telling a neighbour yesterday he is pretty mild mannered and teething has not really been that bad of a process. I hope my wife is prepared for it. She is already losing it lately and nothing really has been happening. She can be very impatient when things are not going her way, but what she needs to realise is with a baby expectations like that are impossible to keep, maybe you can talk some sense into her one day. I find she loses it or gets frustrated over the smallest things now. I am there trying to tell her to relax and calm down but that just might be making it worse.

curlybenswife
May 12, 2007, 04:05 AM
That my dear is normal its frustration and lack of sleep and feeling like its you that has to do everything weather it is or not its hormones hunny, don't pick holes in her for it the best thing you can do is help her solve it in the nicest way possible she just needs a bit of tlc and is feeling like her only role in life is a mum its quite a shock to the system everyone feels it at some point.
When she gets upset or frustrated go put your arms round her and tell her you love her and thank her for joshua it's a nice boost trust me.

Oh Laura,

Just beautiful advice here. Joe, this will do it.

Last thing I want to hear when I am spinning, is "calm down, relax" . No matter how loving you say it, it just seems to fuel it even more. Makes it feel like what we are upset about, we are being silly for being upset, like we are being out of control. Which we may be LOL, but don't dare tell us that :).

Just beatuful advice from Laura. Hug her, tell her how much you love her and thank her for the beatufiul gift, Joshua.

Thank you both Christine and Laura.

Your both wonderful and I appreciate everything. I will defiantly do that a lot more instead of the calm down and relax bit.

I do not mean to be that way, but when the hormones are nutty and she gets crazy I just want her to relax and calm down. I like to be at peace.

I like everybody to be at peace. The thing is I know when mama gets frustrated everybody else feels it too.

I am going to go now and give Her a big hug and let her know how much I love her and our superbaby.

Laura and christine are right. As a mother whose seen babies cry from time to time. We're used to the cuddle and kisses and rocking chair to help. But for those times that it doesn't work, I feel helpless and angry with myself because I can't take away their pain. Sometimes I feel like I'm failing at being a mom. I tend to let loose on the nearest person and that would be mr. chippers. Like you, he's very supportive and a loving husband and father. He also tends to take it personally feeling like I'm blaming him for failing as well.
It's taken a while to realize we aren't failing our children because we can't stop their pain all the time. And to be very honset the crying can get to you. But there is hope.
My personal remedy for teething pain worked 95% of the time. If Josh will take it. Put a pacifier in the freezer after you dipped it in water. It won't freeze but will get very cold.
If he's over 9 months, dip a Q-tip in honey and swab off the excess. Then paint his swollen gums with it. It's a natural anestheic and anti-inflammatory. Honey was once used ages a go to treat burn patients because of its natural pain releiving properties. My grandmother used it on my mother and my mother used it on me and my brother.
Thre's been a lot of talk about it hurting babies but I've never heard of one yet. We're talking about a small amount not the entire bottle. Also baby tylenol or motrin drops will work. But the cold pacifier is soothing to his little gums. Also give him infant gas medicine because all that crying will cause gas to build in his tummy.
Once he's calmed down and falls asleep LET him where ever he does. Even if it's a swing, stroller or crib.
Then you and super wife have a glass of asti and relax.
By the way, I've picked pink lilacs for your flower. Very fragrant and beautiful. My grandmother had a tree in her yard and I'll plant it for the both of you.
My this garden will be colorful and beautiful. Just like all of you are.

I love it Laura. It hits the nail on the head.

I learned my lesson fast. That is unless you really want to know how someone is, don't ask or they'll give you their life story.
oh bother.
I went out Saturday and had my hair nails and eyebrows done just for a nice treat. I came out feeling like a new woman. I'm rechanneling my flapper obsession again and went for the bob.
I went to the rick springfield concert yesterday. When I tell you I was 2 INCHES from shaking his hand and fell on my arse, I'm not lying. But it was worth it. I actually had fun. I called J-9 and let her hear as much of it as I could.
Start congrats. You are officially a non smoker and a member of the top branch society.
(crowns start with a laurel wreath and officially welcomes the new fledgling goddess.) you may dance your happy dance now.
I can't wait to get the garden started next month. The nursery guys said early June for the flowers I'm planting is better. I'll take tons of pics for everyone to see. This is my way of showing everyone here just how much I value and love you all. And how much Your friendship means to me. Someone once told me that a friend is a gift you give to yourself. I say then I'm the luckiest woman in the world.

I'm sorry... I am having an extraordinarily hard time today.

With Mother's Day this weekend, and my daughter's birthday tomorrow... it's tough to begin with.

But to top things off, we found out that I'm NOT pregnant (again) yesterday.

Happy Mother's Day to me, huh?

Hi everyone -

Startover, you are just way too cute. :):). And so proud of you!! You stay strong.

Chippers and Laura - special love an hugs come your way.

Synnen- if only what I feel for you could erase what you are going through.. What we all feel for you. Not one word I type here seems the right word to type. All I do know Synnen, is I do have faith. I really do. And just feel there is a master plan at work. Bumber is, we won't know what that plan is until it actually is revealed. Until then, you stay nestled ever so close to those who love you and be sure to keep us in that group.
Love you bunches Synnen.

Hugs to superfamily as well.

Sorry I hope I did not forget anyone. Just know all of you are in my thoughts and heart!!

Synnen, I feel compelled to offer one of my children to you, pick any one you would like. No, I am kidding, I just want you to feel better. If I could I would have that baby for you. What is the situation, I am not up to date? My sister in law had twins while they tried for two years to get pegnant. Thousands of dollars later and many appt's. They didn't think she could, she had a very small chance but it happened. And to top it all off, since she didn't think she could have any children she never went back on the pill and a year later guess what, little Hanna is here, 3 babies and they said it couldn't happen.
I can't imagine what hurt you are going through. Just close your eyes and feel my arms around you with my sweetest hug ever. I will be thinking of you. Start

You guys are the BEST.

Startover... I placed a child for asdoption 15 years ago, and her birthday is tomorrow. Now my husband and I are having no luck for a child, after 5 years. We haven't done fertility treatments at all, because the price is soooooo steep, and not covered by insurance. It's hard to justify a few thousand dollars to find out if you CAN get pregnant or not, you know?

Plus I've gained so much weight from quitting smoking, that it LOOKS like I'm pregnant. I'm going to SLUG the next nice woman that asks "And when are YOU due, dear?"

Just a frustrating and sad day for me.

How I could get through without you is beyond me, though. Thanks. You have no idea how much it means.

startover22
May 14, 2007, 11:17 AM
Synnen, you are the strongest ever. I have more respect for you than I did just 5 minutes ago. About the weight, I am waiting myself to see what happens, I am going to take a kick boxing class, maybe that will help me get my grove on. I am pretty sure you got a grove too, you just got to find it. Listen here, you quit smoking! You did it Synenn. Keep your chin up and take on this crazy world. I wish you the best baby making in the world. Like Allheart says, it will come, you just never know WHEN! It would drive anyone crazy to play the waiting game. Hugs to you. Start

Hey you stranger... good to see you today!

Allheart, have you ever seen those signs made of wood that look real old and distressed? Well, I am going to make one to put on the front porch saying, "don't look down on someone, unless you are helping them up" I will get it done this weekend. I love it. I need to follow that advice as do so many people.

This little quitters corner has got me doing things that I thought would have to wait. I am calling the hospital to volunteer once a month in the ICU for those little babies that need holding. Just to let you know I have written a list of things that mean something to me and I am going to check it off one by one. I am very proud of myself and thankful to you guys for feeling that way. I have got a senerio for you: You love your kids and husband, his mother and dad have for the most part been typical inlaws. Mostly wonderful. They have two houses on their 4 acre lot in the country, Great Grandparents have the brand new house they got built for them, and Inlaws have the old one. They also have a huge shop that they are converting into a guest house. Me my husband and four kids move up to the old house and they live in the guest house so they can do more traveling and wouldn't have to leave great grandma home so much??

My worries, it won't work out and we are made out to be the bad guys.

alkalineangel
May 14, 2007, 12:51 PM
Is money involved? My experience has always shown that money and family is never a good thing... no matter how close the family is... if no money is involved, it really depends on your fam.

startover22
May 14, 2007, 12:57 PM
No money just a house payment that we can afford. I guess it just means that my privacy will be gone, I mean they aren't rude by any means, and I don't walk outside in my underwear or anything, I am just nervous as hell. What if I have to tell her I don't want any company and it hurts her feeling cause we are very close and I think I would put my feelings aside so I didn't hurt hers. You know? I almost feel like I would be putting myself in that "danger" zone. My husband thinks we should go for it and never look back and I am just negative about it. I want to be more positive about the whole thing. I guess I just have to get over my issues and look at the bright side.

alkalineangel
May 14, 2007, 01:00 PM
You have every right to tell her that then. Esp if you are paying your own mortgage payment. That would make it YOUR home for the time being and she would Hopefully respect that. I don't know what I would do... but my mom and I live very close, and she is mindful of our privacy...

startover22
May 14, 2007, 01:05 PM
Yes it is going to be our house. And yes I love her, I would be able to respect her and I think she thinks the same of me. So I guess it is a matter of talking it over with her and her husband and getting all the kinks out. We already live only 5 minutes away, but this will be a house apart, so you know. I know they need our help, but I was hoping that this would be a time in our life that we could be just us. I guess it boils down to whether I am going to help them or not. And of course when I put it to myself that way, then I say OK. Thanks. I hope you have a lovely day I am going to read some of my book while I can. Hugs...

May 14, 2007, 01:33 PM
I agree with alki, it depends on the family. My impression is that they're moving into the guest house so you and hubby will have to be care givers for the greats. It's kind of dirty pool. Not that you'll be caring for the elders but the way it was done. Working in a hospital it's called granny dumping. You're being madeout to be the bad guys because they (in laws) aren't getting their way. But in my opinion if you do care for the greats, you're getting their lifetime of wisdom and memories. As will your children.

Syn, I will always want to know your life story. As I would anyone of the club members. My heart goes out to you and I wish I could hug you and comfort you in some way.
My ex sister in law was in an accident as a child which resulted in x-ray after x-ray. When she reached womanhood, she was told the all that exposeure to radiation made her sterile. That she wouldn't be able to have children. My nephew just graduated high school and my niece is my twin as a kid. I guess what I'm trying to say is there is always hope.
My best advice is what worked for me when we were having trouble conceiving a second time(it also worked for my best friend) we stopped trying and forgot about it. We took things as they came and lived our life as best we could. Stress alone can be a deal breaker. I'd forget about the charts, ovulation charts, taking the temp thing and just enjoy your husband and celebrate your marriage. Take a weekend and go away together, open a bottle of asti and enjoy each other.
but... If you really want to try something that works, there's always the turkey baster.
CBW, I feel your anguish. I too hate interupted sleep. I make the wicked witch of the west look like a candy striper. Is millie still in a crib? If she is you could put her in it with toys and let hr play or watch t.v. while you take a nap. I used to fence Devon in the living room with furniture whle I took a short nap. He would play and watch t.v. with me still there.
The dancing fireman was terrific allhearet. Although my mind went in another direction when I first thought about. I imagined he would be barechested and rippled muscles . Ahhhh the thought alone puts me in a happy place. He's up there with Rick Springfield (wel not that high up but close). I'm a sucker for men in uniform.
I've been thinking a lot about what Start said. About wanting to do good things. I've been thinking about volunteering time at a nursing home and animal shelter.
I draw inspiration from everyone here. There is such a feeling of good will here, I feel empowered to share it. To want to be a better person, mother wife and friend. All because I know you.
I swear I see a chicken soup book here somewhere. You hear so much going bad about the internet but none of the opponents know you guys. Maybe they should.
then like me, they wouldsee they are in the company of angels.

I have talked a long time with the mother in law and I told her all of my many little concerns about moving up there. Including the little things like, the kids wandering over unannounced, grumpy ole father in law, they said that they were real concerns and that they have gone over them in their heads too. She also said, she doesn't need help with the grandparents unless they take a trip, but mostly with the 4 or 3 acres and the swimming pool. So, I guess I am going to go with the kids and help them out. You might be hearing from me about this. End of summer and we might be there. Just a heads up.

As for the smoking, I still want one, but I just make the better choice and don't have one. I will survive.

WHY do people wait for the last minute, and then get mad when you can't get them in the schedule.

I'm like... Lady... Number one, you're a measly $50 window job. Number 2... it's 3 days in advance! If you were like $1000, MAYBE I could get you in, but for $50, my crews would laugh at me!

But what they would normally treat it with I'm allergic to don't ask how we found that out I'm kind of lucky to be here, but lets not dwell on that dull stuff so the only actual real cure is to remove my bowel and that won't happen while I'm alive and healthy.

Oh we have our own dr surgery assigned to the area you live in they deal with the every day stuff you walk in you see them you walk out they refer you to the hospital and then its just a waiting game. We still pay for our prescriptions that's 7 pounds per item so around 14 dollars a item but we don't pay for the dr's time.

Laura, I' sorry to hear that. Colitis is hard to deal with and painful. The hemorroids are from the inflammation of the colon. I wish I could comfort you in some way. My prayers are with you.
Syn, you're a remarkable woman. She should've confirmed the appt before taking off from work. It's not your fault she didn't do what she needed to do. People alwaqys take their own stupidity out on others. Hence the more stupid they are the louder they yell. You are a goddess with grace under fire.
All heart, that's a cute pic of the cat. I agree with syn, that he probably got even with the bonehead. It looks like a citrus fruit bigger than a grapefruit. I can't recall the name of it.
Start, I'm glad you spoke with your mother in law and aired your feelings. I think it's always good to talk and get thibngs out in the open if you can. I hope it all works out for you and the better.
Alka, I'm glad you had a great weekend. I've never been to gatlinburg but I hear it's nice.

I hate to cut this short but my felines are sooo hungery they are eatting the computor.
