Lmasof. CBW you along with J9 make me laugh so hard I have to wipe the computer screen every time.
Leo likes to get all the attention. Leo the lion, me being Leo the astrological sign. You can see where I get the traits of wanting to be the centre of attention all the time. Hee Hee lol lol lol
Hey, I am the original LEO.
I want to have ALL the attention. I CRAVE attention.
You are younger than me Joe, so I get to be Leo.

Some people might be fooled by your monkey picture but deep inside you're a lion yourself.
Lol
Yes, Joe, I am a lion too. LOL
I hide behind the monkey façade.
WOOO Hoooooooo
On Thursday I finally get to go to the real Looney Bin, the one that is on one of the first few pages of this thread. I actually get to be a nurse this time and get to go into the forensic unit for 12 whole hours. I CAN'T WAIT!!
RubyPitbull
Apr 9, 2007, 04:05 PM
Please be kind to me when you see me on Thursday. No more locking me in solitary and feeding me those weird meds you gave to me the last time.
Not to worry Ruby, this time I will be doing an IPR and reviewing your charts, just talking to you. I get to play psychologist this time. Unless you get aggressive that is.
RubyPitbull
Apr 9, 2007, 04:14 PM
Grrrrrr. Don't mess with the pit!
By the way, I decided it was time to put my baby's pic back up. I miss looking at her with that silly hat on. You should post a pick of your smiling girl. I love that one.
There you go!! LOL.
Ms. Ruby in her party hat and Ms. Kimmie with her smile on.
RubyPitbull
Apr 9, 2007, 04:43 PM
Is there a way for you to crop it so everyone can really see Ms. Kimmie's gorgeous smile?
I would love to, but I am a little technically challenged. LOL. I don't know how.
Yeah, I'll admit it... I DON'T KNOW EVERYTHING!!
RubyPitbull
Apr 9, 2007, 07:04 PM
I am so disappointed in you. I bet your 5 year old could do it. Ask him for help. Heehee
Well, you know if it involves a compound word he could do it. Ccrop is NOT a compund word. LOL
I will work on it tomorrow. With maybe some guidance? :p
Hint, hint.
RubyPitbull
Apr 9, 2007, 07:12 PM
Sure, I will try to walk you through it. Do you want to try this through PM's tomorrow? I will be off and on during the day. Just let me know if you scanned this in or if it was uploaded with a digital. What photo programs do you have?
RubyPitbull
Apr 9, 2007, 07:15 PM
Actually, if you have a photo program, when you pull up the picture file in the program, you should have a crop feature in it.
RubyPitbull
Apr 9, 2007, 07:15 PM
If you scanned it, you should have a crop feature in the your scan program too.
It was uploaded through digital. Don't know what photo programs I have, but will check in the morning.

Cappy, those are very cool lookin' chickies. I thought they were wearing Jammy bottoms. Good thing that you are only sponsoring them and not taking them home. Very messy and stinky are chickens. Their poop just sticks wherever it drops.
I woke up to snow again, took a quick look out the window, and saw something big moving in the corner of the yard. When I did a doubletake I realize it was four wild turkeys huddled together pecking what they could off the ground. There was one male surrounded by 3 fems. Sort of reminded me of you.
curlybenswife
Apr 12, 2007, 06:04 AM
Ruby are you sure that you didn't see 4 bottles of wild turkey lol
RubyPitbull
Apr 12, 2007, 06:12 AM
Positive honey. I live 2 miles up a mountain in the middle of the woods. I see wild turkeys, black bear, moose, fox, deer, and coyotes. Very cool.
curlybenswife
Apr 12, 2007, 06:20 AM
Oh my god you have to take a picture of a moose...
RubyPitbull
Apr 12, 2007, 06:30 AM
Not easy to accomplish. I have tried. They are quite skittish and I usually see them when they are on the move. By the time I grab my camera, they are gone.
What is really cool is during the fall time, you can hear their mating calls all around. The fall is rutting season and you definitely want to stay away from them because they become aggressive then.
curlybenswife
Apr 12, 2007, 06:32 AM
Hehehehehe how cool most wildlife we get here is fox, slow worms, hedgehogs nothing to exciting.
Synnen
Apr 12, 2007, 06:35 AM
Heck, I live in the middle of a huge city (well, relatively, anyway), and *I* have seen mooses on vacation!
I could probably find a picture or three I've taken!
RubyPitbull
Apr 12, 2007, 06:36 AM
It is like that in the more populated areas. I still see a lot of hedgehogs, mice, chipmunks, and squirrels. Here the foxes are not seen too frequently so it is cool to see them every once in a while.
RubyPitbull
Apr 12, 2007, 06:38 AM
Well, then post them syn honey! :) I never tire of seeing Moose pics.
Where I live, I think the fact that we have "moose season" makes them skittish to be around people. Personally, I would feel the same way if someone tried shooting at me.
Synnen
Apr 12, 2007, 06:48 AM
Yeah... I'm pretty sure they're protected in MN.
When we go up north by Duluth, we tend to see at least one moose every time.
I'll have to see if I have any digital pics of them when I get home... I'm thinking that I used the GOOD camera, and would have to find a scanner for those pics, though.

Wow, what an amazing, wonderful, fantastic, insightful, educational day I spent today!!
Ruby and Magpie, sorry I didn't get to visit you today. Ruby, I was unable to visit the woman's unit, and Magpie, since you were on Level 5, you were having much fun in the gym playing basketball in the morning and taking taking a nice relaxing swim in the afternoon.
I worked in the forensic unit today. It is the unit for the criminally insane. They have all gotten out of prison by Not Guilt By Reason of Insanity.
It was by far the most amazing day of my life. If I never get into mental health, I will never forget this day for the rest of my life!!

They are telling me to stack chairs up to the ceiling, get naked, smear smuckers orange marmalade all over myself, climb to the top, unplug the TV, turn on the radio, put three snack pak pudding treats on my head, take the fly swatter, climb to the top of the chairs and spank my bare bottom while singing the theme song to Shaft. You know, just the same ole same ole. Why do you ask?

magprob, we were dutifully ignored in our sentiments regarding the "list your problems" post in the member's forum. When will everyone get a clue and look at the big picture? None of that stuff really matters. If we manage to hobble along and survive another 50 years, changing the small potatoes situations, ain't going to matter.
magprob
Apr 13, 2007, 12:54 PM
I really think we are in trouble. Trouble we have not addressed soon enough. Just the honey bees dying off in some places as much as 90% tells me something is very wrong. That will lead to mass starvation. First food prices will sky rocket then there will be empty bins at the supermarket. Next, your pitbull will come up missing and as you move through the neighborhood looking for it, the smell of barbque smoke will enter your nostrails. You may think I am joking or being silly as usual but, that is where we are heading.
magprob
Apr 13, 2007, 12:59 PM
By the way, Spam can be stored for up to 30 years and still retain its Spamtastic flavor. I'm stock piling cases in my basement. When the world is starving and people are eating Fido, think of me in my basement having a nice fried Spam sandwich. Fried on my cute little backpackjers stove, which incidentally, is a good fuel source that can be stored for a rainy day as well as keep you warn during an A bomb winter. ;)

I just didn't have any answers for what you had to say. I agree with you... we're spiraling out of control as a species on this planet. I especially agree with the idea that having children should not be a RIGHT, but a privilege.

I know you weren't ignoring us Syn my dear. You were talking about what burns your buns. When I posted here, I wanted to talk about it. Now, I am too tired to joust with my friend magprob. The only thing I have to say is that if we do get to the point where there is no food to be had, my pitbull won't turn up on my neighbor's grill. She most probably will be on mine. I needs ta eat. Boo hoo poor little pitty bull. I love her so. I guess I will learn to love her with a little barbecue sauce too. Boo hoo. Don't like spam. And, if the A bomb hit, no worries about little backpackers stoves and tins of spam. I won't be alive. Don't have a place to hide out in.

80 % of the people on AMHD have included me in there "ignore feature" anyway, so, I wouldn't have noticed. I'm kind of like being hit in the head with a can of Spam... ya know? The way I see it is that Spam is just as important as... well, you get my drift. Heck, maybe even more important. Although, the pitbull has been bringing up some very interesting topics to talk about as of late, when you can get her out of the Looney bin that is. I am completely burned out on it all and I need a release, hence, the Looney bin.

Magprob to earth-Magprob to earth- The giant asteroid that hit earth last night seems to have spared me here in my basement. I was frying some Spam when it hit. The rest of life on the planet seems to have been wiped out completely. I walked for a while, in my fire retardant thermal long johns and double insulated irrigation boots, along the strewn path of the atseroid when I realized that the pieces of the asteroid laying about, were beginning to hatch. We, I am afraid, have been destroyed by an evil alien race. I have barracaded myself in my basement and I am having a Spam sandwich with mayo and just a touch of Grey Poupon mustard. If it truly is the end, I have a right to splurge. It is now 3:36 AM and try as I may, I cannot make contact with any other living being. I am afraid I am the last living creature left here, not counting the evil alien hatchlings that are now trying to chew there way into my basement. I have realized that they may smell the spam and that is what is attracting them. I have 3,000 rounds of double ought buck. I am determined to hold them off as long as I can.

God! How could I be so dumb! I remember reading weeks ago, scientist had been finding trace amounts of Iridium in Moon Pies! That's it! If we had only seen the correlation then, we could have prevented this horrible disaster. Ah but alas, it is now too late. The evil alien hatchings keep chewing away and soon, I will be face to... well, whatever they have I will be facing it. Sleep would be nice. Another human voice would be even better. I wouldn't mind one of those recorded phone calls where the guy trying to sell windshields rings you up and then you start cussing him and telling him how you would just love to squish his head. Even that would be all right.

One of my former bosses LOVED The Spam! He ate it with everything. He'd go to Mickey D's and order a Big Mac, only to take out the patties and replace them with Spam slices. For breakfast, he'd often put it in between two pancakes as a sandwich! He said that Spam was nature's candy!!
magprob
Apr 18, 2007, 04:47 PM
Well I'll tell you, Spam is not only natures candy, but I believe it is the stuff from biblical times known as "Manna from heaven." I believe that GOD dropped cans of Spam onto the wandering Jews. You see, back in those days, Spam cans had the key attached to open the can since we all know that they hadn't invented the can opener yet. Although they don't actually use the word Spam in the bible, it was, at that time called Manna. If you just add a S and a P to Manna, you get Spmanna. See what I mean? Uncanny isn't it?

Oh, I just have to vent!!
Well, I got home from clinicals Thursday night, did most of my homework here on the computer, but did not print it.
Well, wouldn't you know, when I got up Friday to print my work and finish what I hadn't started, my computer was dead. Yup, I said it DEAD!!
Nothing but a bunch of clicking and whirring then nothing. Black screen and white cursor.
FREAKED ME OUT!!
Well, turns out it was just a dead hard drive, so for $60 I bought a new one, and a friend installed it and upgraded me from windows ME to Windows XP, (Yes, Laura, I have XP now).
Well, I forgot I have to load all my drivers. Ummm, I have had this puter for 7 years. Do I know where all the disks are? Hell no!!
So, I sit here on dial up waiting for a disc from my DSL provider, downloading drivers for my printer and trying to remember what other drivers I will need.
Oh, woe is me!! :(

Finals are over!! HOORAY!! :D
My study group and I (all 4 of us gals) got a hotel room near the college on Monday night. We studied are arses off...
Well, took the final today 100 questions, and I walked out feeling pretty (really actually) confident. Now, all I have to make is a 64% to maintain my GPA and stay in the course. I know I made that at least.
So, back to the study group. People finished their finals and walked out in the hall to wait on friends and discuss the final. Some girls were crying (one had to make a 95% to stay in the program) and others were just plain ashen looking. My friends and I were there laughing and cutting up, not realising that others were in turmoil. One of the students said to us "Well, good thing you feel confident, you are the only ones, must be nice."
Well, yes it feels nice :D. We NEVER turned the TV or radio on... when we went to dinner we pulled 2 tables together so we could spread our stuff out and study while we ate. We studied until 1 am Monday night and 3 am last night. Now just have to wait until the scores are posted.
Ughhhh, the waiting is horrible!!

LOL nice... that reminds me the time I tried to paint... I bought a bunch of stuff, paints, the thing that holds up the picture, and what not. Hours pass away, and my picasso's look like kindergarten paintings, yeah that stuff found it's way back to the garage...

I do enjoy camping, I like that feeling of being outdoors and what not. However, I have a tendency to bring too many home items... but it really can be enjoyable, just do it during the summer when the weather is nice...
