Yes, Momma C installed camera's to keep an eye on you in particular! She knows you're a bad boy sometimes, and you pick on me when she's not here, so she needs to keep an eye on you!

She knows that girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice. Boys are made of snakes and snails, and puppy dog tails! :p

Hey kids. Are we still fighting about who Momma C loves best?

It's me I tell you, why, because I don't give her any back talk, I always listen, I'm always good, I cook, I clean, I'm nice, I'm sweet. Okay, I'm not even buying this. ;)

But really, she loves me best, simply because. :)

M, hey, still waiting for your address. Do you want the nakie girlie pics or not? ;)

Chery likes my Cologne...

Yes you are sitting there on that high chair with all your preeeteeee clothes on; nice little dress with all those slips, a bright red bow in your hair, and a smile on your face.

Toooo bad you tore your dress, have mud all over it, your bow is sliding down and out of your hair, you have food all over your face, missing one sock and shoe. And... sniff, sniff... I think you need a change...

No wonder poor Momma C has her hands full all the time.

Now me I am clean, neat, always respectful to Chery, and I get her gifts toooooo.

SHE LOVES ME MORE!!

Ok so I'm just posting this for Stringer , I must say string man , very pretty ;)

Stringer
This is my oldest grandchild and these are two of the proofs for her senior pictures in high school. Her name is Linsey Marie Smith and she is 17 years old. She is the head cheerleader for the varsity football (American) and basketball teams. She is an "A" student and she is dating the football quarterback. She has done some modeling She's kind of cute wouldn't you say?? Or am I just prejudice....? By the way, the "Funny Picture" title is just something that I was kidding her about...I used to call her my little"funny face"

Boy oh boy, I am gone for a few days and all my lovely children are at each other.. now settle down, please. Momma C is still here and watching over you, so behave!

It took me a while to find that picture, Stringer, and will have to work on it to change the background a little so that it will look good in puzzle form. The dark background that it has now - well, I'll surprise you..
I have so much to catch up on, I see. Not only here, but also in my picture galleries. Got some nice ones of my family. I have not seen them in a long time and really enjoyed the visit.

My cousin Cherion (she was named after me, but my aunt didn't know whether there was an 'I' or a 'Y' in the name, so that's the only difference - we even have the same middle name - and NO I'm not telling you that one) and my daughter had so much catching up to do that they hardly had time to eat. I had to interrupt a few time to tell them to take a bite of their delicious Mexican food. I knew that Alexander was not going to let his mom finish once he was done.. so I had to make sure that she had a chance to eat a little.

My uncle loved the way I had the steak cooked - he usually orders 'well-done', but I talked him into letting the cook to 'his thing' and he loved it. His plate was clean when he was through eating. The kids (my cousin's) had tortillas filled with all kinds of stuff that they could make on their own, and I honestly don't know where Jonas put all the food he ate. He's so tall and skinny, I guess he fills his legs and then goes on. His metabulism is absolutely fantastic - a lot of people wish they could eat as much as he does and not put on a pound. Alina, her daughter, is the only one that has features from her father. She has darker skin, and dark eyes and hair. She was even born on her Dad's birthday - which I think is a double-gift for him. He couldn't make it due to being on duty at the hospital - that's what you get for being chief of surgery.. work, work, work.

Anyway, I took my laptop with me, and after lunch, we went to Jaime's and spend a few more hours catching up. I even let the kids play games - and I never let anyone ever touch my computers.. but they were such good kids and my 'inner being' said let them. They had so much fun. Aline liked the hidden object games and Jonas loved the Extreme Infinity (breakout) game and Big Kahunah Reef2. My cousin had to see what I had on there because she does not like shoot-em-up games. I never liked them either, so she had nothing to worry about. They also liked the Yatsee and different card games I have. They are going to have a very big collection when I download all my games on their PC - another project. Over 50 games will keep them busy - especially since most of them are in english - so they will have to brush up. Good training.

Alina plays flute - and already had her solo - won 1st Prize. I'm so proud of her. I introduced her to Candy Dulfer and Bonny James songs because I love Sax music.. she too liked them very much, so now I know who to give my Jaz CD collection to. I hope she advances to Sax.. absolutely think it's the most fantastic instrument and one can do so much with it. She's also into ballet and karate (what a mixture).

Jonas will get my AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith and even my Lita Ford collection, I know he will like them a lot. Naturally Alexander will get all my movies and copies of all my CDs as I always make a backup of everything and keep the originals in a safe place so that they don't get scratched. He is into playing soccer and tennis - his trainer said he has a chance at being the next Boris Becker. He's tall and very athletic. I can't believe he's only 15 - his voice broke a while ago and it was so sweet talking to him on the phone trying not to laugh at the changes in his pitch.. When he hugged me, my cousin said she'd have to mark that on her calendar because he usually does not let anyone get that 'close' - puberty! So I feel honored.

And naturally, they dote on their grandfather. He's staying with them since his retirement and they keep him busy with music, computers, and even go out in the woods with him to cut wood for the fireplace. My aunt died of colon cancer and was only able to experience Jonas when he was Alexander's age. I told my cousin I now know how my aunt felt when presented with such a wonderful gift from her daughter. It's an experience that no mother should ever miss or take lightly.. you never know when it's taken away, so bask in the joy every chance you get. Oops, the faucet is starting to drip.

My grandson, although still in the 'following Mom all over the place phase', actually wanted to sit with me and told everybody 'my Ama'.. when he saw that the kids gave me a hug, he pushed them away and hugged me harder.. just to show them that he has 'property rights'. That just floored me. The next evening, when it was time for me to go home, he didn't want to go byebye in the car to take Ama home. He pointed to the couch and told me that I can go night, night there. It's amazing and heartwarming to know that he loves me and wants me to share more of his life with him. A little sad and frustrating that my body does not agree, but nonetheless one heck of a miracle to experience.

I figured out those 'special new features' on AMHD now.. the contact and friend part. It will take me a while to update mine.. but it had the people on my old 'buddy list' already on it, thank goodness. Now, I just had to work on it some more, I hope I remember all the wonderful friends I made on here - so if I forget anyone, please add yourselves to the list, and naturally, I will 'check' you off on there. It is a nice feature. Are there any other features that I missed?

So, folks, I hope I can last a little longer today and answer a 'few' emails too. I took a double dose of painkilling meds today and decided that I'd better get on here and update you. I have not read all the posts yet, but I will after sending this update, so I might interject in a few of your posts here too. Just had to take advantage of feeling a little better the next few hours and take care of some important things - and AMHD is first on my list.

I love you all and honestly missed you a lot, but fever and swollen joints didn't give me any other option but to sleep as much as possible to regain some of my old energy.

I showed my family all the wonderful postcards and gifts I've received so far and they just think it's so nice of you to show your appreciation and let me know you care. My cousin said that if only half of her 'friends' ever showed so much concern, she'd consider herself lucky. Did I tell you that I was her idol while she was growing up? She also looked like Claudia Schiffer (the model) - boy was I jealous of her there for a while, but she told me that I always looked like Barbie, so I guess that evens things out. She's only 8 years younger than me

OK, folks, that's enough for now. Don't want to bore you with too much, but thought you'd like to know about one of the most wonderful weekends I've had in years - and to keep my promise in letting you in on it.
Going to rest for a few hours now and get back and read all that I've missed while not online.

By the way, I also got my old smileys back! Don't know how, but thought I'd try and install again, and this time it worked. So, Momma C is back - smileys and all.

Now the only problem I see is that the Spell Checker is not functioning... let's get that fixed, PLEASE!

Love you and C.U. later!

O.M.G! Just discovered another AMHD feature- the picture albums...
Ok, calm down, take a deep breath, Chery.. I know all my pictures will not fit on here, but gosh, this is COOL!

Just updated my Friends page - probably missed a few, but give me time to absorb all this new stuff and take this all in.

Still don't know what to do without my reliable spell checker, but maybe it was just an oversight. My wordpad and notepad do not spell-check (well since the Operating System is German, it checks German spelling, but not the English), so I'll find an online checker that will do the trick.

Momma C has a cure for some of your 'hoof-in-mouth' diseases lately, just gargle with salt water or use a little backing soda. That will do the trick - Starby, Stringer and Alty - you all will do just fine after a little gargle.

Next time I'm gone for a while, I will designate someone to keep an eye on you, and since you, my darling Friend (yes you) had so much fun sitting in the corner watching - you are the first on my designee list - that's what you get for laughing at your bruddies and sissies...

Tsk,tsk,tsk...

Now, all of you, get on my lap so that I can rub your backs a bit and we'll all relax a little to some nice music.

Where's my music girl?

Momma C, I'm so glad that you had such a wonderful time. Alex sure loves his Ama, that's the way it should be, and is. :)

I've been having a rough time lately, my get up and go got up and went, darn energy. I keep telling myself I'll get things done tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes.

I talked to my friend in California yesterday, he gave me a pep talk and a swift kick in the arse, exactly what I needed. He also told me that I spend way too much time on the puter, I have to agree.

Time to get back on track, got to get things done, go out and find a job, try and get my book published, start making furniture again, maybe write some more, paint some more, do everything some more.

Just thought I'd share, because I really haven't been myself in quite some time now, and yesterday was a large wake up call.

Love you all, especially you Momma C. Oh, please don't put Stringer in charge when you're gone, when I did that he stole my whip, I still haven't gotten it back. Besides, he'll put Starby and me in the corner until you get back. :(

M, if you're in charge, um, would you like some candy, a cake, a gift, nakie girl pictures? Let's cut a deal, I give you stuff, you let me get away with stuff. K? ;)

Alty my dear... NO deals! You need to take care of business and then kick in the intelligent adult I know you are. Friend (M) will not make deals, if he does, he knows that he will get a virtual kick from Momma C - and it will land so that he feels it for days.

Now, get to your book or find something to do from start to finish - even if you have to force yourself. I know it's hard to keep on track sometimes due to all the wonderful diversions available, but we have to also keep control of ourselves - that's important especially when setting goals that wind up rewarding when completed.

So, get to it girl, and I want to know once you've completed one of your planned projects.

Your music girl is here, and she gargled too! :D

I'm so happy to hear that you had such a great time with your family! I bet that, although tiring, was really what you needed. I'm just thrilled with all of the things that you shared with us, and all of the fun you had.

Little Alex loves his Oma (Ama) so much, and that must just give you the greatest feeling in the world! I'm glad you had a great time with Alina and Jonas, and all of the rest too! :) I love reading about the great times you are having, Barbie girl! ;)

The sax is absolutely one of my most fave instruments too Cher. I will find a good sax song for you! My postcards, and a little somthin somthin, are on their way. There are lots of them, and there are more to come. I also enlisted my sister Danielle, and you'll be receiving one from N. Carolina too! :) You may also get some from Florida, and my friend the truck driver is also picking up ones of his trips, so I hope you enjoy all of them!

Love you sweets! Hoping today is a good day for you!

Big hugs and kisses!

Ps: Tell stwinger to stop pushing me into mud puddles!. he made me ruin my best dress! :(

Got to run for now! Talk to you soon!

No problem love. I will find one that I think you'll like. By the way, I used Oxyclean on your dress and it's find now. I'm sure Stringer didn't really mean it, but we girls can really get a guy's dander up sometimes, can't we? So, now everyone say you're sorry and we'll share some quality time laughing about this by the end of next week, I'm sure. This big family can't stay upset for too long - we all need each other. Let's all light a candle and send good vibes.

Thanks you so much for enlisting your friends to be the postcard 'squad', I can't wait to see them when they get here.

After Monday, I will work on the puzzles and I hope I don't miss anyone - if I do, let me know... Post here once you've received the ones designated for you all, please.

Going to log off now, been on for a few hours and my legs want to stretch, so until tomorrow, Night, Night.

Chery, I just found this.

You've changed so many lives for the better, and you have touched so many hearts -- too many to count.

Your support and love have helped so many at AMHD, including myself. I just wish you lived closer so that I could hug you for all the times you've brought a smile to my face!

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, and that I hope you're feeling better (I see that this was originally from a month ago, but I'm pressed for time and haven't had a chance to read back and see any updates).

Much love
Synn

Just a bit of an update for Synnen and everyone else that has just come upon our thread.

Cher has started new infusion therapy. I think two so far if I'm correct. The first one made her arms swell badly. The next didn't make her swell so much, but her damn body makes her feel like it is on fire. Her legs and arms are hurting her a lot. :( I'm trying to condense this as much as I can to just give everyone an idea.

We are trying to be silly here to cheer her up a bit, and make her laugh at her silly kids. Just in case anyone has missed it, Momma C would like us all to send postcards from where we live. She looks forward to getting them in her mailbox in the morning! She is going to pass these down to her Grandson Alexander. We are all trying to send lots of postcards, so he can have one of the biggest collections from all around the world, and it will show him how many people LOVE his Oma!

Chery has posted her address a few times on this thread, and I know she would love to receive as many as she can get!

Momma C's address once again for anyone.

CM Inglehart
AM Stuhl 4, 66849

I hope that was okay that I posted your address again Cher. :)

Send your postcards everyone! :D

Chery... some things need to be addressed here:

Alty and Starduck are TATTLE TALES....you know the type. They go... NA NA NA NA nananana... and stick their tongues out at me! AFTER they start trouble. They always start it Momma... and when I retaliate I get caught. They are sneaky and devious... yes they are cute but underneath they are very nasty and they are trouble makers too. We should send them to their rooms WITHOUT dinner... (or the dungeon-yes... that would be nice Momma. If I could EVER love you more than I do now, it would be AFTER you send them there! So they can learn their LESSON!).

I really tried to be the nice boy here I do everything that you tell me to do. And I always try to keep an eye on them to protect them Momma. BUT I can't keep up! They are ALWAYS getting into things and I have to FIX IT!! I try very hard and they make fun of me... they throw things! (like mud pies).

You told me many times that if I am good to people they will be good to me... NOT!!!! They don't even know how to be GOOD!! NO.. they don't!!

Momma... a serious question here: "DID YOU ADOPT 'EM????" Cause you know that they don't even look like us... right? AND they don't ever behave good like us.

And look how naughty Alty is; "don't put Stringer in charge-no, he will take things and not give them back." Now you know me Momma, you know I WOULD NEVER DO THAT...!

I REALLY FEEL SORRY FOR 'UM Momma after YOU get finished with them... they really need to be paddled....and HARD!

Can I watch Momma? I will be good and just sit there... and I promise not to smile at 'um... yup.

Momma... can I have a hug again?

Also, when you're not watching, he pulls my hair, and pushes me in the mud, then he says that I'm just a dirty girl. He stole my shoe and threw it in a tree, and, and, he, he, he, took my ducky! :(

Yup, he needs a whoopin, you should kick his a$$! ;)

Was not! Was not! No way. He, he, he, wipped her widdle head off, he did. Starby saw him do it. Right Starby?

And now she's gone, gone, okay, she's still stuck. Where's the plunger?

As for the bus incident, Starby was trying to help a little old lady off the bus and Stwinger tried to push her out of the way, because she offered Starby a lollipop and Stwinger wanted it. Starby dodged the push and Stwinger down like a cheap hooker.

That's the truth. :)

Momma, did you hear that, Stwingy said a bad word, it's the f word, fart and face. Bad Stwingy. He's all sweet when you're around, asking for hugs, giving you that sweet little innocent face, but it's all an act.

Oh, Momma, I got the toilet unplugged but my poor dolly Molly is gone. Can you get me a new one?

And Momma, Stwinger still has my whip, he won't give it back, he glued it to his hand just so I couldn't get it. That whip is the only way to control Stwinger, without it Starby and I are toast. :(

Mean big brother, blahhhh (I just stuck my tongue out at you) :)

Sneeze and M.....and Momma C....I'm confused, how should I react to her comment????? Does she really mean it? Can she be nice?

Is this really her talking?????:confused::rolleyes::confused:

All kidding aside, the statement about your handsomeness is accurate, I meant it. Of course I can be nice, I'm always nice, I'm the sweetest darn person you'll ever meet. Yup, that's me. :)

Wiggy and I went to Hawaii on our honeymoon, I love Hawaii, can't wait to go back one day, maybe when the kids are a bit older. :)

Grrr, I can't stay long, I really have to clean house today. I hate it when life interferes with my AMHD time. :(

Momma, he just wants to see me get whacked, that's naughty, don't you think?

He's a naughty boy, he really is. I stuck my tongue out at him because he flushed Molly down the big drain, she's out to sea now, I'll never ever have another dolly like Molly. She had a pull string that made her cry. The string got caught when he flushed her down, she cried the whole time, it was heartbreaking, and my wee little heart broke. :(

I need a hug Momma. Stwinger deserves a good whack, I know you'll give it to him, he really deserves it. :)

Momma I have to go clean up now, because I'm a good girl, I always clean my room. Have you looked in Stwingers room lately? He has dirty magazines under his bed and I think something died in his closet. Oh, there's also stale pizza, at least I think that's what it was. Told you he's naughty. :)

Ssssssshhh... what was REALLY COOOooooollll was I got my telescope and I could see Molly out in the ocean... damn she tried hard to swim... down for the third time...gotta give her credit... she really tired... sorry, do I have a smile on my lips??

Momma, he's glad that he killed Molly, he's grinning from ear to ear. He killed Molly, and she tried so hard, but she just couldn't swim, not with most of her stuffing coming out. Poor wee Molly, she was courageous to the end. It's all Stwingers fault. :(

But really, got to go, got to clean, if I don't do it now I'll be here all day, and I'd love to, but I really can't.

So, have a great day Stwingy, I'll probably pop in from time to time during a coffee break. :)

Starby, are you really a super duck? Or are you acting??? I think both, lol! dry up your blurred eyes and watch carefully. now count from the right, no left! 1, 2, STOP! Here is Mr Stringer!

Sep 26, 2008, 12:18 PM
Synn, I'm glad you found it, I would have PM'd everyone but that's alot of people! ;)

Chery is such a wonderful person, it's so wonderful seeing all these people come here to offer her support, hugs, love and well wishes. I know she appreciates it, and so do I. :) I really do appreciate it a lot...

Starby and Alty, I thank you again for what you have done for me here. AND that you and Stringer really keep me busy trying to figure out which one of you is up to what next... I love this interaction... but you still are going to get three lashes with a wet noodle before I dish out those hugs!

Now, let's give back the whips, dolls, and stop tattle tailing on each other and be nice for a few days, OK? And no pulling hair or sticking out tongues either. I thought I raised you all to act better than that.

Friend, I know you did your best, but it's hard to keep your eyes on this wild bunch of basically wonderful babies - just be a little patient and they'll hopefully remember my basic rules (I hope). So, after giggling a bit after reading to catch up, I'll take a deep breath and wait till you all get into a line (shortest first) to get your lashes and hugs. None of you will be left out, so get in line for my touch love...

And NO, I will not send you to your rooms, because I know what you all have hidden in there just for these special occasions - you'll have too much fun with your Internet and other toys, so if you act up, you'll be sitting at the bottom of the stairs watching everyone else have a good time.

Synnen, thanks so much for joining us here. I know your are busy with the teens and those with very personal sexual identity issues and am glad you found the time to drop in. Don't be a stranger.

Guess what, Magprob is back! Now, that makes me one happy camper. I missed his sense and insight of the truth and loved to exchange ideas with him. I hope he won't leave us again without letting me know first.

I added a few pictures to the AMHD gallery and hope that we will find out how to access this feature... will probably have to ask Curley Ben or J_9 how we can all benefit from sharing this 'album' - then I will add some pictures of last weekend with my family.

My Jaime and Alexander are in Missouri now, and I hope they have a wonderful time with their 'family' there. It will be the first time that Alex and his Mom meet his other grandparents - and I promise not to get too jealous.

Alty, and Starby dears, it's OK to post my address here again.. but just this thread - it's where those that know me,and I can trust come to see where they can send me their postcards - and I really loved the ones I receive so far. I even took pictures of them and will place them in the gallery or here - so be on the lookout. Manx's picture is included too.

So, now that I've worn myself out reading and responding till my legs hurt, I'll call it a day for now and get back with you later. Once my legs feel better I'll call out for you to line up for your hugs!

It's OK Stringer, darling. You will all get your share of hugs after the lashes. I am very fair in dishing out equally, so just get over it and share some quality time with Marta until I come back.

The way the world is acting today, the little things the 'girls' did are peanuts and we will just start a new day after sleeping on it... the important thing is to keep this family together, even with our little spats.

Night, night, honey, tomorrow will be a better day.

Oh, by the way, breakfast at my place - french toast with cinnamon or honey - and NO let's not ask for extra stuff, it will only make me do more work.. OK. (unless you want to get up early and help me... I thought not)

I just got this in email and couldn't go without sharing this first... typos or not, it's SUPER!

THE NEXT SURVIVOR SERIES

Six married men will be dropped on an island with one car and
3 kids each for six weeks.

Each kid will play two sports and either take music or dance classes.

There is no fast food.

Each man must take care of his 3 kids; keep his assigned house clean, correct all homework, and complete science projects , cook, do laundry, and pay a list of 'pretend' bills with not enough money.

In addition, each man will have to budget in money for groceries each week.

Each man must remember the birthdaysof all their friends and relatives, and send cards out on time--no emailing.

Each man must also take each child to a doctor's appointment, a dentist appointment and a haircut appointment.

He must make one unscheduled and inconvenient visit per child to the Urgent Care.

He must also make cookies or cupcakes for a social function.

Each man will be responsible for decorating his own assigned house, planting flowers outside and keeping it presentable at all times.

The men will only have access to television when the kids are asleepand all chores are done.

The men must shave their legs, wear make-up daily, adorn himself with jewellery, wear < STRONG> uncomfortable yet stylish shoes, keep fingernails polished and eyebrows groomed.

During one of the six weeks, the men will have to endure severe abdominal cramps, back aches, and have extreme, unexplained mood swings but never once complain or slow down from other duties.

They must attend weekly school meetings, church, and find time at least once to spend the afternoon at the park or a similar setting.

They will need to read a book to the kids each night and in the morning, feed them, dress them, brush their teeth and comb their hair by 7:00 am.

A test will be given at the end of the six weeks, and each father will be required to know all of the following information: each child's birthday, height, weight, shoe size, clothes size and doctor's name Also the child's weight at birth, length, time of birth, and length of labour, each child's favourite colour, middle name, favourite snack, favourite song, favourite drink, favourite toy, biggest fear and what they want to be when they grow up

The kids vote them off the island based on performance. The last man wins only if...he still has enough energy to be intimate with his spouse at a moment's notice.

If the last man does win, he can play the game over and over and over again for the next 18-25 years eventually earning the right to be called Mother!

After you get done laughing, send this to as many females as you
think will get a kick out of it and as many men as you think can
handle it. Just don't send it back to me.... I'm going to bed.

And the winner is........

I'll get up early with you Momma! I'll be gone for awhile, cause I'm going to go to the garden and pick blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries, to have with our French Toast... yummmy... yummy... yummy! I help you clean the dishes too Momma... I will... promise! French toast sounds better than wet noodles! ;) I'll take my punishment like a big girl though. Anything for a HUG from Momma!

Of course I will not post your address anywhere else my sweets. Just here where you originally posted it. I can't wait to see your pics, and the ones from your great wkd! I hope it doesn't take too long for my pkg and postcards to get there. They were mailed last Friday and then more again on Monday again I think, so I guess we'll see how long it takes them to come. Like I said, there are several.

I hope you get some rest, and your legs and hands are nicer to you!!

So....you shave your legs and wear uncomfortable but stylish shoes, maintain your eyebrows, and wear makeup daily?

Well I don't know how you meant that as I don't see any indication like a smiley or something of that nature. But... I think you are a nice person and you wouldn't mean it in a bad way:D

No... not quite sweet... but I was never afraid to do all the things mentioned by Chery that consisted of taking care of my kids. Ex-wife left so many times that I became an expert and I learned what it took to work, go home cook, feed, dress and care for them each night by myself. I earned their love, respect and admiration because I did it... Not because I had to, I loved them.:)

So... do I use "LIPSTICK", prune, and wear those pointy shoes... no but I do use deodorant; a very nice smelling one too:rolleyes:... or so Marta tells me:eek:... hee hee.

Night sweet Momma C, love you lots and big hugs. :)

I asked the 'Mods' about the best way to share your picture albums with everyone, and the best we came up with was to either send the link in the post, or place the link in our signatures. I edited my signature today and so my picture album should be easy to reach. I will place some more picture on it tonight - along with pictures of the postcards and other things I received from you lovely kids. Thanks again.
http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_1_37.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZSfox000) Girls, did you practice today? Good, now change clothes and listen up.

Now that we have survived this crisis, my little ones, lets all bring our extra make-up with us next time and see if we can play with Stringer. He won't have to wear it for a week, and not the shoes either, but a few hours won't do him any harm, if any make-up at all shows up under all that lovely hair - and I'm sure Marta will have fun helping us.

Stinger darling, you might be right, but you know from your upbringing, that whenever possible, give in to mother and sisters - you might really need them some time in the future and a happy sister is a more helpful sister - get my drift?

Alty, I just saw you stick your tongue out, if you do it again, I'll paint it green, so save it darling...

Gee-sh, just when I thought I was going to have a little peace tonight...

OK, gather around, it's HUGs time - Stringer first.. cause he's going to be busy worrying about all that make-up - and we know there is no place where he can hide, so move over and let him get his hug first..

Besides, I have fun putting make-up on others - learned it in beautician school centuries ago.

I'll get up early with you Momma! I'll be gone for awhile, cause I'm going to go to the garden and pick blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries, to have with our French Toast....yummmy....yummy...yummy!! I help you clean the dishes too Momma....I will....promise!! French toast sounds better than wet noodles!! ;) I'll take my punishment like a big girl though. Anything for a HUG from Momma!!

I hope you get some rest, and your legs and hands are nicer to you!!!
Here's a couple songs...a little sax for ya!! :D

YouTube - Stevie Wonder - Isn't She Lovely (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-n3Ydy7ras)

YouTube - Kenny G - Endless Love (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3w9mBAHNs4&feature=related)

(Gotta watch the last, just for the kitty's and puppy's....oh so cute!)

Gee, I don't know, Today, I received an envelope with a Maple Leaf, postcards and a picture of a cute blond who's eyes I'd recognize anywhere - no matter how many years have passed. Oh, and a wonderful little pin with a butterfly-angel. I didn't take pictures of them yet, so they will be put on the album next time. Did you send them?

I know Alexander will love the postcards and the leaf, but I think I'll let Jaime keep the pin for him until he's old enough to have his first girlfriend. Naturally I'll be there is spirit to help him 'handle' that situation without getting hoof-in-mouth disease right off the bat. If his first winds up being a boyfriend, well, I hope he likes pins on his ties - it would fit nicely too. Until then though, I will wear it every day!

Will listen to the tunes after doing my posting and email chores. The medication should just about take affect by then so that I can lay down and enjoy the music.

Love Ya!
http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_9_3.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZSfox000) Yummy, I love berries - hope I can keep them down. Lately, I do better watching everyone else eat and imagine the taste. Wish there were candies with bacon and egg flavor.

Settle down Stringer, you know that I never use a hand to 'smack' anybody and I've used up all my noodles. You were just too busy squiggling around to notice - even you got the lashes with the noodle and didn't feel it. So, it's over now.

You can watch me paint Alty's tongue green if she sticks it out again, though. Will that make you happy? Glad you liked that hug, cause if you don't behave it will be a long time before you get another one like that - it purely wore me out hugging you so hard.

Let the girls have fun laughing a bit, I kind of like you with all the make-up on too, going to take a picture before I let you wash it off and place it in the album to remember.

Did you all know that there is a 'Social Group' now too? One has to be approved upon request to join, and I hope I get to join the Sexaholic Group - that will be fun, especially when Excon, J_9 and CBW are on it. They are talking about football and hockey players bums right now. Be still, my heart!

Momma C's got to go now, behave - Friend.. it's your turn to watch for a while now.

http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_2_108.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZSfox000) I said watch, don't slobber all over them now. Oh, well, maybe you can help Stringer remove his make-up that way.

Seeeee Momma C? Stwingy's even being a big meanie even after his hug!! Did you notice? He's looking fuuunnyyy in his heels and makeup though! Stwingy looks silly... espwecially with the furry thing above his top wip! I tink he pasted on a caterpillar, so he wooks all growned up! HEY... Stwinger... stop throwing those pointy toe heels at me!. MOMMA... Strwingy needs a time out!

I want to watch Alty's tongue turn gween! Will it glow in the dawk? Can I make other designs on it in Pepto Bismol Pink? I can make it look all phychadelic and funky wookin!

I'm soooo happy that Momma got her Butterfly Angel Pin, and the other things so quickly. More postcards on their way! How's kittycat? Have you named him/her?

I have another song for you! I don't know if you've seen this video, but it is awesome! I will try and find it, and post it in a little bit! I know it's one you will looovve :)

Green? Why does everyone always want to make me green? It's not easy being green, it's a hard color to live with. :(

Momma, Stwingy started it, he really did, he stuck his tongue out first, I just did it because he did. You should paint his tongue, paint it pink, I have some paint for you.

You can read the special groups even if you don't join? Eeeeek, I better tone it down a bit, I'm in the sexaholics group too. :) ;)

That sounds like a fun project. How about all of us getting together and do a tongue-painting party. Just make sure the paint you use for mine has a taste like steak or spaghetti, please. How about BBQ brown with green bean stripes? Sounds tasty already.

Any other ideas for color and flavor? The best idea gets a special hug from me.

How about brown for beef tenderloin, green, beige and grey for green beans baked with hashbrowns, mixed with mushroom soup, topped with cornflakes! (trust me it's gooood) Then white for a nice big stuffed potato with some orange to top off the tater with lotsa cheese! :)

Momma C, Stwinger drew on the walls in my room with his magic markers. He drew all over it and I can't wash it off, I tried. I don't know what the pictures are of, they look like two people fighting, but I don't know why, there's nothing to fight about. :(

Poor bear. That mean Stwingy. See Momma he's mean, and he won't even come here and say anything. His silence speaks volumes, he's guilty, guilty, guilty. I think he needs another wet noodle beating. Yup, use a whole package of noodles this time.

Before I read and catch up on the posts that I've missed, I need to do what I promised you all first.

Stringer, darling, I did take a picture of you after the girls and I did your make-up, and it does not look so bad.. am posting it here to that just a chosen few who were involved get to see it. I like it personally and I hope you and Marta like it too.

Also, the pictures of the postcards and other little cute things from all of you wonderful children are included. If I need two posts to attach them all, then so be it.

Here is Stringer... and then I will post the Postcards afterwards.

Thanks so much again for all of the fun and I hope we have more in the future.

Oh, Stringer, that Sleepwalk video was so nice. When did you and Marta have the time to post for those characters? Now I know what I am going to use to make your puzzle out of.
I never tire of hearing the other song, it brings back so many sweet memories when I was able to dance and be the young rebel I still am. After all the crap I had to go through the last few days, I really needed that. You always know how to cheer me up dear.

As for the rest of you, I see that you've been busy with other things and have behaved here - that's just the break 'Momma C' needed - to know that her 'kids' can take care of themselves and I hope your past week has been wonderful.

Keep those wonderful postcards coming.. just got one of a great forrest where, if I had the chance to start over again, I would love to live in a cabin up there with my 'inner circle' and have all of you come visit.

I miss my daughter and hope she comes back soon. I can just imagine Alexander having a great time with his grandad because he has a golf-cart and uses this to drive around his 'little' piece of property. I know for sure that he's had Alex on his lap and letting him steer it already and hope that 'someone', anyone, took some pictures. I'm not really jealous, just wish that I could have gone alone to experience the warmth I'm sure he's receiving there, but I'm sure he'll try to tell me in his own words what he's been doing and how much fun he's had. It's hard not being able to see and feel the joy my little family if having right now.

So, bear with me in my moments of 'pitty pot' phases, it will get better once I hear all about it.

Starby, now that you mentioned it, Stringer did remind me of someone - and couldn't think of the name, you got it..

What's been going on with you, my AMHD children? Anything crucial that we need to talk about? You know I'll be here.. maybe not so often, but still here ready to dish out all the hugs you need, and I can use them as much as you.

Check you later, sorry if there are spelling errors, my smileys and spell-checker vanished. Darned computers and the programs that fix 'bugs' - the bugs I don't want, stay, and the ones I want to keep get take away - go figure.

HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... BIG HUGE KISSEY WARM HUGS MOMMA!!

We need to live in our "Cabin" and listen to good music and dish, and reminice! Invite our company and have great food, and all niters sitting around the fire and telling good jokes! We need to be able to go and pee in the woods if we want to, and sing songs no matter how bad we sound.

We need to run around and have water fights, and laugh like hell when we get someone by surprise! We need to play all day long if we want to.

We need to cry when we want, laugh when we want, scream when we need to, and know that at the end of the day, we will all get a big hug and a kiss goodnight!

Our "Cabin" is a fun place to be! :D

Thanks so much Friend, I needed that one.
Today at the doctor's, I saw this young woman sitting by herself and crying, I walked up to her, sat down next to her and placed my arm around her, rubbing her back. Didn't know her from Eve, and didn't care what anyone else thought either, and she did not move away. She just accepted this gesture and it made me feel good too. We traded phone numbers and email addresses and we both made a new friend today... anyway, those 'oldies' in the waiting room didn't know what to make of it and I still laugh just thinking of their funny faces. They didn't make a new friend today - too bad. They are missing out.

Momma C, that reminds me of a story.

As you know, my mother suffered for 10 months with cancer, I was the one who took her for her treatments and stayed with her while she had chemo and radiation, got her lungs drained, blood transfusions, you name it.

Well, I don't have to tell you this, but cancer is a disease that has many steps, and as such our acceptance of the disease has many steps as well. First there is denial, then sorrow, then anger, then acceptance. My mother was not quite through the sorrow stage when she had her first chemo appointment. When we went there she was lamenting about her condition, feeling quite sorry for herself.

When we walked in, a young mother pushing a stroller with a child of around 2 years of age walked by us. Both of them had IV's, they were receiving their chemo treatment. A mother and child, both struck by cancer at the same time, both fighting for their lives.

My mother stopped, walked up to the young mother, gave her a hug, bent down and said hello to the toddler. My mom had tears in her eyes. The young mother turned to my mom and said, and I'll never forget these words "Don't cry for me or my son, you have a battle to fight as well. Just remember, you aren't alone".

Words of wisdom, they changed our lives. My mother went through all the steps that day, she went from sorrow to acceptance, completely skipped anger for herself, but had plenty of anger that such a young mom and child had to go through such a terrible time.

Momma C, you are not alone, and your battle, although only yours to fight, has been fought by many before you. Like the others, you were chosen to fight this battle because God knew that you could handle it, that you could live each day to the fullest. Regardless of your illness you get up each day and bring joy to others. You my dear Chery are special, blessed, and you bless us every day.

Love you Momma C. :)

No, honey, you didn't miss anything, maybe I just didn't explain it right the first time. Manx is from the Australian ASPCA for all animal lovers and adopters to take him and his friends home.. and I think he's so cute too. Besides, I don't think that customs would have let anyone send a live animal in an envelope stamped all over with their customs 'seal of approval'.

Starby.. That cabin will probably need add-ons on a monthly basis - I know we can do it and think of all the fun we will have decorating it too. All of our talented sisters and brothers with their paintings, window colors, sewing - Boy I can't wait to see the first quilt! Oh, and let's not forget the special 'playpens' for all of our animal friends. I can just see the places outside enclosed with chicken-wire for the cats to go outside and climb all over the place and still be safe, and the long grassy enclosure for all the doggies, and then the pond for the ducks, turtles, etc. How about the little houses built for the rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters. I know at first it sound like a job, but I'm sure that Stringer and our other male friends will help us with the hard part once I make my special deer ragou, potato dumplings and red-cabbage. Can't wait for Startover to bake some of her special bread - by the way, where is she? She just might be visiting magprog in his private post, so I'll go and see if they are OK.

Here Chery... I will be making zuccini bread tomorrow... ;)
Your story about your new friend reminded me of something... not as scary as cancer... but I got to share it with you. (Oh, and good for you to shine down through the clouds for this girl... GOOD FOR BOTH OF YOU:))
I was at BestBuy... in the Geek Squad line, my puter crashed and it needed to be fixed, so I stood there in line, a few minutes passed and a girl came in and sat in one of the chairs available... (the lines are really long sometimes or the wait for just one person could make sore feet) Any way, she was sitting there and all of a sudden, her face was in her hands and she was crying. I couldn't help but to tell the guy "just a sec" when he motioned me to come up to the counter... I went to the girl and it turned out (after letting person after person go in front of me in my spot LOL) it turned out she lost every single thing on her computer, she didn't save her College homework to her disk, she just trusted her computer to be good... she lost it all, everything she had done for the year. That was devastating enough, she still needed to pay to get her puter fixed and she just couldn't believe it all, it hit her and it hit her hard right there... But, with my tissues in hand and my hand on her leg rubbing it to give her some comfort, she started smiling, knowing she could prevail. I hugged her and we left each other. I just know that if I was crying, I would like to have someone just come up and tell me that they care... we need that as human beings, we need to know that we care about each other.
I care about you Chery and what you do to my heart is unexplained... I don't really think you need an explanation anyway, you know what love is and you know what it isn't. Lots of soft hugs, and I will get you that bread one way or another;)

Alty my darling, send me a picture of your mom so that I can recognize her when my time has come. We will both share a lot of quality, painless, time together, I'm sure. The hard part is the ones we leave behind. I worry about their future and not being able to be there for them. In the material sense, I know Jaime will be OK because her man is well off and will inherit a lot of land from his parents, but there is nothing we can do about how this entire world is changing and what the future has in store - that scares me a lot.

Now is the time, more than ever before in the past years, for families to reassess their values and importance of loving and nurturing their children, and unfortunately I see so many families just splitting up and 'doing their own thing' while neglecting the basic family ties that should be there.

You all have given me more strength and innovation to keep going and spreading the message of this most important asset - family and love for your fellow human beings - just reaching out without ulterior motives other than sharing comfort if nothing else. You, my darling have such a big heart and deserve the love and caring back two-fold.

Startover - boy my miss you message really got to you on that special 'wave' we have that reaches across the ocean. Can't wait for that bread of yours. It comforts me to know that we still don't need many words between us to communicate as our friendship is still as strong as it will ever be. Hope you and the kids are doing fine and hope you will update me sometime soon.

Friend, I'm glad that Alexander does not have a cat allergy because Manx now has a special place on the pillow with Larry and me. I thought of getting a bigger pillow, but the one I have is just right - softness on both sides and lots of purring - what more can an old gal like me ask for. When Larry has his arm around me, his paw is on Manx, and he does not extend his claws, so that tells you a lot.

Well, it's 6 AM here, and I've been up all night (again). So, now I'm going to get some rest, wait for delivery of my new pen-point (for my graphic tablet pen) so that I can 'play' with my graphic program and work on some pictures for the puzzles. WACOM is a great company but their 'parts' cost a lot. I ordered the pen points (5 in a pack) they cost 10 Euro, well after ordering, paying tax, shipping and handling, they wind up costing 22.99 Euro - what a difference. I want to get a new one soon, the Bamboo One Model from the same company - they have the best graphic tablets and I already told my uncle to get his grandkids a tablet and two pens for Christmas - they were just so surprised to use something more accurate and easier than a computer mouse. Once you've tried one, you'll never want to see a mouse again.

OK, as I said before, time for some rest..

Just in case it didn't get through to the entire world yet, I am now again a proud Mother-In-Law!
On Monday, 29 September 2008, Alexander's Mom and Dad were married by his Grandfather in Missouri, on the terrace of their home. I guess there is an advantage in having a Preacher in the family.

Naturally, I will let you all know more, and post pictures once I get them. I dreamed and it was also confirmed that Alexander had a great time driving a golf cart around his grandfather's property - making everyone dizzy, but not bad for a two-year old - that's my boy!

Ironic, but after being nervous and anxious to see them again for almost a week, I have a new cold with fever and will probably be flat on my *ss this weekend - wouldn't you know it.... Oh, well, stuff happens.

I am just so relieved that they all made it back safe. Now it's paperwork time, getting all their IDs and other documents changed - and it's back to work on Monday.

So, now that my worries in that department are over, I think I might be able to get some rest for a few hours.

OK, here's the rant first.
Yesterday and today, I spent all the time 'fixing' my laptop with Vist from a crash... naturally, I lost all my pictures, film clips, dictionaries, and had to reinstall most of my games (which I had already maxed and now have to start all over again from the beginning. After that, it decided to upload over a million updates for Vista, the computer software manufacturer (those apps which I uninstalled wound up back on and I had to try and get rid of them again (and of course, now some are so stubborn that I don't have the 'admin rights' to delete or uninstall them). So, I will leave them on, zip them in their folders (if I can) and let my daughter worry about them when it's her laptop. Until then, I will put up with the crap, use my own software and try and find the pictures in the emails that I sent out, and hope I get them back (I forgot to copy the last two months on a CD, which I normally never ever forget to do) So, here's a lesson folks - always copy your most prescious pictures and other things onto a CD at least once a week or you might wind up not having them again.

I just hope that I can get what Jaime has on her computer so that I can complete the slide-show I wanted to do. Shucks, I even lost all the Maxine pictures I saved, and the ones of Stringer and his wife, and the one with the make-up... That mad me so mad! Then I tried the freeware PC Tools Antivirus program and it stops working sometimes for some reason, so I have to find another free one, maybe Zone Alarm Internet Security , and hope it won't get rid of my smileys on my Internet Explorer. My Firefox already 'updated' itself without my permission and the first thing it did was get rid of my smileys.. what a pain.

Now, for the good news.. I am happy that my little family is back, and my grandson stopped by today to see me - he smiled and hugged me first thing, and then wanted to stay with me, but with this new cold and pain from sitting up all night, I just didn't have the energy. I will see him again for a few hours tomorrow. And naturally, I want to hear all about his trip and driving the golf-cart. Jaime said it took him a while to get 'comfy' with his grandparents but they were patient and they just love him and his mom so much they did not want them to leave.

Also, Stringer, my dear.. all those wonderful music-cards and other cards with the pictures of you and Marta on them came all at once this morning! The postman had to ring my bell because he could not put them in my mailbox - and I am glad so that none of them got bent! Thank you ever so much you two sweet darlings! You cannot imagine how that faucet of mine just leaked and leaked with happiness - and when Jaime saw them, she turned her faucet on too. Alex was wondering whey we were both crying and still sounding happy - I guess that's something he still has to learn. I had to explain to Jaime what you meant by 'make-up' - then she really laughed and wants to see the picture, so I told her to link on and look for herself.

I have always used graphic tablets and pens instead of a mouse, as it is easier for me to work with them and make my coloring books and the best ones are from WACOM - believe me, there are no better! (I'm an expert on those little peripherals) I wish I could get the new Bamboo One tablet and pen, but will have to do with my Grahire 3. Well, as I probably mentioned before, I had to purchase new tips for my pen, and while doing so I discovered a new graphic program that I want more than anything, even though I have Paintshop Pro 9 - which is one of the best on the market. But this little thing (ArtRage) I saw on the Wacom Site was super! It lets you create oil paintings, with glitter and many, many other features, with tutorials - it is even being used by professional artists (as I have noticed while reading the reviews and looking at the forums)who then make flash films with the pictures they did.

I told my daughter that I wanted this as an early Christmas gift (since it's going to be her's and Alex's eventually) I cannot wait until she orders it (my credit card is limited to purchases in Germany- since I am a retired person now - with a limit) - and I want her to get the CD too, in case of computer crashes again.

Now that I'm up and running again, naturally, the first place I came to was here and I will check my mail in a little while.

I just wanted to let you all know that I am still here, and doing OK, except for the frustrations which will pass.

I know this is a long one, but I've been kind of gone for a while, and had a lot to convey to my friends, so I hope I didn't bore you too much.

I love the cards, Stringer. You and Marta look so beautiful together - and she's just got the loveliest features when she smiles. So do you, but they are 'manly' honest. Your voice fits you and so does your super handwriting - you are an individual who is happy and stable in life - at least that's what your handwriting tells me - and I wish you happiness, peace and stability for the rest of your lives, my wonderful friends - you well deserve it. And yes, it's too bad that we live so far apart, but this site gave me that chance to get to know so many wonderful people and at this point in my life - you are all a godsend!

So, before my faucet leaks again, I'm quiting for now and going to check some email. Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.

Thinking about all of you, with many hugs, your Chery.

Hi'ya Momma C!

Don't you ever think for a minute that you could bore us! I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that we LOVE reading everything that you write.

So sorry that your computer is being such a pain. I can try and track down the Maxine ones again for you if you'd like. I'm sure I've still got them on here somewhere. I should actually make a special Maxine file, so I can easily find them.

I'm so glad the kids are back home with you now, and that you can visit again. I'm looking forward to hearing about little Alex's stories about his rides on the golf cart.

It's great that you are going to be getting your early C'mas gift from Jaime. I'm not sure I know what you're talking about, but whatever it is, it sounds like fun! Maybe you can give Stringy a new makeup job with sparkles? LOL!

Batman went AWOL on us and we can't find him! We had to hold down the fort! We behaved ourselves though. We played a few tricks on Stwingy, but he's a big boy, he can handle it! :D He doesn't know about the itching powder we put in his shorts yet... shhhhh! ;)
