Three days ago I had my paragard IUD removed, I had it in for 11 years. Now my breasts are really swollen and sore.. Is this a possible side effect from an IUD removal? I thought that maybe I was pregnant because my last period started on Dec.24th, it was actually a week early and not typical since my period is usually very regular on a 28 day cycle. It was also very strange in the fact that it was only heavy enough to use one tampon a day for 3 days and seemed very watery. I have also been getting car sick this week. So I took a pregnancy test today because I just "feel" pregnant, but it came back negative. Now I'm confused and a little worried. I can't find anything on the web about swollen breasts after an IUD removal.. Anyone have any ideas?

My breasts are sore and I've had it removed for a week! I was worried I was pregnant but there's no way! So glad to know others have the same problem
