If you are worried go to your local health department or an urgent care clinic. In this economy many doctors offer discounts for patients paying with cash.

Why are you so worried? I never recommend tampons.

    I am worried
Because I have never had this problem
Before and I just don't like the idea that brown discharge is coming out of me

Brown discharge is old blood. It happens to most women at least once in their lives. It's your body ridding itself of old blood in it's system. Of course, having said that, there are times that brown discharge can indicate a medical problem. Only your doctor could tell you if it's something to worry about or not. So, if you're concerned, see your doctor.

So you posted a bunch of concerns back in April about brown discharge and all that... now you're posting this. Are you trying to find out if you're pregnant? Is that where all this is leading to?

Wondering why the other one is gone as I replied to that one...

Anyway... you've been asking about discharge and such since April... now you want to know if you're pregnant.

So... I ask... Have you missed a period?

Edit- I see now, everything was being merged.

Pregnant women don't have regular periods. Missed periods are the only REAL symptom for the first few months of a pregnancy... before your aereolas start to darken and thicken and you start to show.

You will test positive for a pregnancy before that happens.

It's beyond what we can tell you at this point. You are probably not pregnant but if you have any problems or concerns, you will have to see a doctor.

Not until you are at least two weeks late... and only take it right after you wake up.. the first time you pee... or you wait until the next morning.

Of course it is. Any time you have sex, pregnancy is possible. No form of birth control is 100% effective.

But we can't tell you if you're pregnant online.

I do have to ask, if you're this concerned about getting pregnant, why do you continue to put yourself at risk of pregnancy by having sex? Wouldn't it be a lot easier on your mental health to keep your legs crossed until you're ready to be a mother?

Pregnant? You mean pregnant? Yes it is possible if you have been having sex. However, there is no way for us to tell you whether you are. You will have to test using first morning urine or see your doctor for a blood test.

Yeah... like because your period is close... that happens to most women. Its hormone related.

So the test was negative right? But I think you don't want it to be negative because you seem to want to hear something else... ok...

You're pregnant... what else could it be? I mean, you've only had negative tests and your period hasn't stopped so it's clearly obvious that the only choice is that you're pregnant. Congratulations!

    Is that better?

Ok, so now you've been told that you're pregnant which is what you wanted to hear... now it's time to come back to reality and start believing what we all know and what you have been told by everyone else.

Marissa, do you want a baby? It really sounds like you do. If so, why are you on birth control?

So you're on the depo shot, constantly hoping that it doesn't work, that you'll get pregnant again, and every month you come here hoping we'll tell you that you are, when it's fairly unlikely that you will be?

Bottom line, we can't diagnose pregnancy online, and all the symptoms you're feeling can be attributed to other things. If you're going to stress yourself out every month because you're hoping for a positive pregnancy test, when it's unlikely that you'll get one until you're off the shot, I think it would be best to talk to your "man" about this, tell him how you feel.

Alty is right. If it bothers you this much, you need to sit down and talk to him.
