    Hi purplepuff,. I'm glad your problem has eased a bit, but if it's an infection, it will only return, Caneston Duo is a one tablet treatment for thrush and you also get a cream,

    It's freely available anywhere people buy it all the time so you need not feel awkward.
    There is no point in suffering when you can buy an over the counter medication.If you have already tried it then you must go and see a GP.

    You can pass thrush to and from your partener so it's an ever lasting problem until you sort it.

    Orphan I agree, over the counter medication for yeast infections is available. It is not recommended to use these products unless you are certain that you have thrush. Overuse can make the product less effective with time, so be certain that it's thrush before you purchase these products.
