    I'll be awake for two hours yet.

    My former coworker Manisha would fly home to Delhi and tell me about the long jet journey and about the wall of humid air slapping her in the face when she got off the plane..

    No. My uncle was in Burma during WWII and often visited India when he could.

    You still plan to talk with your aunt?

    Oh is it, but you seem to know the Indian culture pretty well.. I need to speak to her.. She is not here currently, I'll be going to her in a few days.. Have to get her personally to discuss this..

    I worked in a community (the library) that had lots of cultures living in it. One of the largest groups was Indian, and over the years, we hired some of them to work at the front desk. We asked why they didn't speak their native language to each other. Shachi explained that there are so many dialects in India, so it is easier to speak English, which everyone knows.

    I really hope your aunt can help you with your father.

    Yes, hopefully.. I've never been so personal with my aunt till date.. Am nervous :( But yes, I need to do this for my love

    She married her love and has had a successful marriage and life, so maybe she knows some secrets to easing the way with the rest of your family.
