    Grants
I need to know how I can apply and if I'm eligible to get a grant/grants for this fall. I'm planning on going back to college this fall, help please?

You apply to colleges, get accepted, and find out from the college financial aid office which grants you are eligible for and can apply for.

That's another thing I'm unsure about, I'm confused on which colleges will accept grants and stuff like that. I'd like it to be one in Ohio (that's where I live)

The colleges supply the grants, not "accept them." Are you thinking of scholarships?

So have you found any college at all?

I was thinking DeVry University. I also have another question with this, how many years do you think I'll need because I want a degree to be an IT technician, RN, and I'm going to need a science bachedlor's degree for forensics(that's what I want to major in)

    RN means registered nurse?

Yes, registered Nurse. By the way (looking at DeVry University or ITT Tech) sorry forgot to mention the second college.

    Why online?

Won't have time in the day to actually go to campus, I'm working on getting a second job. Also a lot of family issues, I'm the "caregiver"

Do you have any clue how tough taking courses online is?

And the colleges you have named so far do not have the best reputation.

Plus, the programs you mentioned are hands-on stuff, where you need to be in a classroom.

So what's your suggestion? And yes I know how rough it is, my cousin just graduated from the University of Maryland University College

    All online courses?

    Yes, all online.

Becoming an RN means you need to attend a brick-and-mortar school. Same for forensics. Probably IT coursework too, for the most part.

I have to help out, a lot. My mother and brother have diabetes and it's hard for them to do a lot on their own. My brother has juvenille diabetes (type 1) which is worse and my mother has type 2, but also has back issues. But is there anything I can do online, if anything I'd really like to be an IT technician

What does that mean to you -- to do what when you earn a certificate or graduate?

Your brother and mom should be eligible for disability help, both financial in general and low-cost physical help from the village/township/county

For grants you will apply US Federal Grants though the US government, along with Federal Student Loans, If your online school is an accredited college, you can receive money if you qualify.

Home - FAFSA on the Web-Federal Student Aid

When you apply for the FAFSA, you will pick the school year you want to go, if you are going in sept, that is the 2013 school year, if this summer still it is the 2012 school year.

It wlll ask you to enter the school ID number for a school you are looking into, you can enter several schools. If you choose another school they have a method of that school reviewing your information.

You can apply online, no paper application any longer and can get approval back within a few days.

You may have to provide your parent income info, depending on your age and other factors.

There are many good school programs, but you can not be a nurse online.

You can get a criminal justice degree with study in forensic science, but it is more from the investigation and criminal procedure and evidence collection side.
For study about labs and testing you will need a brick and mortal school.

Many of the larger State schools, Kentucky, Missouri all offer online programs as I am sure many more.
