I just bought a late 90's-early 2000 gt3000 with a 25hp kohler engine with a 48 in deck.I have no model #'s on the machine at all.I want to replace the ground drive belt and I have one,part # 161597. It seems about 2 inches too big.I also see a belt diagram on the undercarraige saying there is a flat idler in the center of the pulley system but there is no such pulley on the machine.It did run until I went to replace the belt. I am looking for any help to find a diagram or manual for any similar tractor to get an idea as to which way to go.Sears.com require a model # to access it's online manuals and I don't have any.

The best thing you could probably do is go to an ayp dealer, (ayp makes craftsman products), or your local small engine shop.

Well you can try to ask some one who has it or go to any tractor related forum and ask their admin for help or you can get it from any tractor service manual auction site like jensales.com
