You have the possibility of being at least as tall as your dad, if not a little taller. There's really no way of knowing until you stop growing.

Am I right in assuming you're a girl, from your name?

Height is a wonderful thing (bad also, of course).

Instead of looking at it from a negative perspective, look at all the things you can do.

You can excel at sports and use it to your advantage and receive wonderful scholarships to colleges if you dedicate yourself to sports.

    Or modeling =)

Don't let it get you down, embrace your uniqueness!

Strength is right here, being tall is not a curse, it's a blessing. Being super short is what sucks, especially for men. I am 24 and 5'4" tall. Are you kidding me? How do you score dates when all the girls are looking for Mr. Tall dark and Handsome? Ya don't. At least not without having a super special quality (like and extremely muscular frame.) In your case you have a world of opertunities open you to, from modeling to sports, and of course anything a normal person can do. By the way, taller people rock in track as they have huge leg-spans.

Of course I know how hard it could be for a woman that height to find a date too but there are several men taller than that. Your father for one is taller. So long as you still look up to him you're all right lol.

Crazy question but have you spoken to a dentist lately? Some can examine the bone structure in your jawline and tell how far along you are in the growing cycle. I use the term growing cycle because everyone is different in how they grow. You may be a early bloomer and not have much left of just in the beginning stages. Also younger children today are growing much taller then they used to because of better nutrition. So your not weird in any way. Go with it regardless of where you end up.

I'm 5'11" and female. Being tall is great. I don't need anyone to get things off the top shelf of any store, I can do it myself. I don't need to wear heels, and I can go on every ride at the amusement park. :)

Really, embrace it, being tall is the bomb. :)

I'm 5'9" and wear heels all the time! I love being tall!
Usually you stop growing at 20yrs old... but the growth is not a constant curve.

I'm 5'4" and wear 3" heels - I like seeing over the head of the crowd. As it happens my late husband was 6'2" and my present husband is 5'9". I don't think height matters. I've dated taller and shorter men.

As far as "how do you score dates when all the girls are looking for Mr. Tall dark and Handsome? Ya don't." - don't blame your lack of dates on your height.

In my NYC days I had beautiful roommates, actresses, models - they very often dated shorter men who were interesting either by profession or education or just plain loving life. The muscle bound pretty boys get very boring after a while.
